zqvol Posted June 15, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 15, 2018 At least the court had enough sense to give the guy nothing.
sloopsailor Posted June 15, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 15, 2018 At least the court had enough sense to give the guy nothing. As it should be. His refusal to move to another cabin because he didn't want to be downgraded when he had only booked an inside cabin in the first place was a real hoot! :')

Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted June 16, 2018 #7 Share Posted June 16, 2018 I am glad our Aussie judges got it right and gave the guy a reality check.:) Julie And I hope it cost him heaps in court costs. Perhaps RCI should have provided earplugs after his first complaint.
beachbum53 Posted June 16, 2018 #8 Share Posted June 16, 2018 Either the ship has really thin cabin walls, or Mr. Ritson has super sensitive hearing. OzKiwiJJ is right. A staff member on the ship should have offered to give the guy some earplugs.
Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted June 16, 2018 #9 Share Posted June 16, 2018 Either the ship has really thin cabin walls, or Mr. Ritson has super sensitive hearing. Not necessarily in either case. Many years ago I went on a camping trip with a group of friends. One was the noisiest snorer I have ever heard. Even though our tent was some distance from his, it sounded like he was right next to us. Unbelievable! I'd definitely want earplugs if that guy was next to my cabin in a ship.:D
