Ours is a unique situation. We currently have 28 Cruise Credits. We booked our next cruise as one continuous cruise of 29 days. Apparently it can be booked as three separate cruises, because our Cruise History on Princess’s site shows that we’ll receive 6 credits since we booked a suite. After the first leg of the cruise, technically, we’ll be at 31 Cruise Credits, will we receive $25 for each of the next two legs?

In this case poster is receiving credits as if it was 3 separate bookings so wouldn't loyalty follow suit?

IMHO you should receive 50 obc for the 2nd & 3rd leg. If not, see onboard Princess Circle Rep

That wasn’t our experience on our cruise on the Sky in November booked as a single 28 day cruise...3 credits were added post cruise & not at the end of each of the shorter included cruises (7/7/14 days).

The Captain’s Circle rep confirmed that was correct & only if we had booked as 7/7/14 days would we have received $75 beginning with our 42nd credit which would have been the 14 day segment.

Booked as a 28 day cruise we received $50 OBC for our cabin;  if booked as 7/7/14 days we would have received $175 ($50/$50/$75).

No. You do not receive double the loyalty on-board credit (dollars credited to your on-board account, varying depending on how many cruises you have done). You do however, receive two 'cruise credits' on to your cruising history. This is different from the 'loyalty credit'.

So it sounds like we won’t receive any loyalty credit ($) until the cruise after this one. If we change it to three separate cruises, we could lose our cabin plus a Princess promotion. Not worth it for the small amount of money for our “loyalty”.

Each time we have the option of booking as a longer single cruise or as shorter included cruises, we look at which way has the lowest net price & cabin availability.  For us the extra $125 of Loyalty OBC would have resulted in a higher net price & a less desirable cabin.

For our cruise last Fall booking as a single 28 day cruise resulted in a lower net price than as any other option for booking as shorter segments.  Booking the entire 28 days also resulted in not having to change cabins which we’d have to do if booking as shorter cruises.  So like you booking as a longer single cruise was our best option this time but maybe next time booking as shorter included cruises could be the best option...we’ve had it both ways on different itineraries.
