Oh my! That looks delicious! Are the crepes in the YC?

From your other posts, I see you're a tea drinker. I am too. :D What brand tea do they have in the YC lounge? Bummer you couldn't get a kettle for the room.

Enjoying your posts and scopes. Thank you!

I will get an actual pic later for you but it's Twinnings. I bring my own when I cruise[emoji4]

And no gelato and crepes that I have seen yet in the YC areas.

Loving your blog and scopes. Through all of it, MUST give a shout out to hubby--the man has the patience of a saint!

He does! No debate there!

Loving this review! Curious as to how casual or formal people are dressing in the YC? Looks pretty normal during the day from snippets I’ve seen, but wondering about dinner in the YC in particular? And oh that crepe looked good!!

Last night (embarkation day) people were quite formal. The dress code was smart casual but there were still plenty of people in jeans and shorts. Today, lunch was also quite casual with many in shorts and t-shirts. Tonight is formal (elegant) night so I suspect that will change. Will post back about how dressed up it gets.

Get gelato on deck 6 right below the casino.

Lunch was great. We showed up around 1pm and there were only a few other tables there. All around pretty quiet. Food was good. Again, subjective but a bit on the salty side, especially the pasta. Flavours were delicious.

What is considered formal/elegant on MSC?

They definitely have a good product here to compete with RCI. There is no outlet by the bed though. Only a USB wall outlet. Maybe those who have experience with CPAP machines can chime in on how they have handled this.

Hi. Hubby uses those strong magnets on ceiling to hold extension cord up out of way instead of running on the floor. Plugs it in from desk. Hope this helps. Loving your reviews.

Has Arthur told you yet that “sharing is caring?”, lol, as he advises you to split a dish to try? He is quite good at steering you the best choices, and will let you know if he feels you are choosing poorly!

We were thankful the crepes were a long walk. We needed the exercise as we were eating so much in the Top Sail lounge.

Arthur is hilarious! Yes, sharing is caring and he calls everyone "boy" and "girl" lol. And yes, he steered hubby away from the fish last night.

Today has already been a bad day for us, we had crepes and gelato! [emoji39][emoji45]

Loving your review as it brings me back to our YC experience. If you are by the pool area one of the pool guys OLIN from the Philippines is wonderful and can't do enough for you, he will move the loungers for you and get you anything you may want from the bar.

Would you ask Arthur if he knows yet if he will be on the September 22nd cruise? I have family sailing YC that date.

Arthur just told us at lunch that he is leaving September 29. Looks like you might just catch him as long as his plans don't change. [emoji4]

Thank you. Just trying to pay it forward for all these months of people answering my questions about YC. Thank you for the tip about Olin. We did not spend much time up on Deck 19 today. We took the day to explore the ship.

Onil is on vacation now. Maybe Sergi is still there.

Oh that makes us very happy that Arthur will be there through the end of September. And Onil is on vacation at home now. Sorry you will miss him. He’s a delight to know.
