Recommended Posts

I'm sad this is over. I have really enjoyed your pictures and review. Because of this, I might just have to try this ship out!

Thank you for doing this. Safe travels.

Great review! I was going to say get off of my ship but I see you already did. Leaving our home to drive to the port in about an hour from now.

Thanks for following along! Have a super cruise!

Safe driving! I'll continue the search for my dignity!

Are you doing a "Live" this week on MSC?

It is possible your dignity is still on the Harmony but I think one of the aqua theater guys is holding onto it. When I get back on Harmony early next year I'll continue the search.

So Andys newest affair with Mandy has spawned little Andys.

I couldn't bring all them all back with me. So left them behind for future people in my room. Hopefully I hid them enough so attendant doesn't remove them but not enough for new guest to find them.

So I have to laugh I was reading Georgiafan's Harmony review a few times prior to cruise and he wanted a Harmony model ship but couldn't bring himself to pay the new inflated price. Many of the viewers did their best into talking him into buying it as he would one Day regret it.

So now here I am, I already have one and her two older sisters.

Then I decide, well since I'm going on Oasis in a few weeks I may as well get another one of each for another area in the house.

So now here we are with my 2nd Harmony oh and look a more compact version you can bring anywhere to give you cruise inspiration.

Georgiafan I almost bought you one, I know you really wish you had it. [emoji3]

Alright everyone continue on another week "Live" with Maureen as she sails on MSC Seaside!

Who knows what kind of trouble she gets herself into. Andy and I may have found her underwear on this cruise but there isn't any guarantee she won't misplace them again on the MSC Seaside.

So...

Here are a few random thoughts and things that transpired over the week.

- I never once stepped foot into the main dining rooms.

- I never once stepped foot into the Windjammer

- Only non specialty restaurant I ate at was Park Cafe

- The only Specialty restaurants I didn't eat at were Johnny Rockets (lunch or dinner) or Wonderland

- Never wore a pair of shoes the whole week, Flip flops were the only mode of transportation, even on formal nights.

- Never wore a pair of dress pants/slacks, even on formal nights

- Wore shorts to dinner only on the first night

- This is my favorite ship

- Only complaint about this ship I have is the Diamond Lounge, so petty I know. But It's really nice those evenings being able to enjoy a few drinks and watch the ocean and see the sunset. After just recently being on the Rhapsody and Independence and enjoying those evenings it made it more noticeable to me on this cruise.

- Since I did cruise solo on this cruise, I spent way more time in the casino then I normally would had I been cruising with my cruising friends.

- The internet worked well throughout the entire cruise, only a couple of times, in the morning I had to log in with my pass code

- Parked right at the port, few minutes walk and well worth the extra cost and convenience.

- Walking off the ship during the time period to exit with your own bags is a breeze.

- Thoroughly enjoyed the Ultimate Dining Package to its full extent, with the exception of missing out on Wonderland. Even on days that were port days, I went to Sabor and had a snack once they first opened around 3-330 and then still went to dinner later in the evening.

That's all for now, am sure more will come to mind in a bit.

Maureen seems to be taking the news okay, I was worried for a bit.

Thanks again for the review!

I was worried too, but she just boarded a cruise ship herself so is a bit pre-occupied, once she is back home and the news settles in, we will find out. :)

Thanks for following along... November on Oasis will be here soon!

Great review. I will watch for your next one, in 50 some days.

What did you think of casino host? When I was on her the host was awful, zero personality and almost like she didn’t want to be there. Not the job for that personality, and it left a very bad taste.

I hope you left with some of their money, your winnings on the first night looked pretty impressive.

See you soon (virtually).

Thanks

Soooo... you wore a kilt then?

haha. No, jeans. But there was someone on the ship wearing a kilt. He and his wife were at the casino bar a couple nights.

Thanks for following along. Well my first few days, I did very well in the casino. My first night I won over 1k so was playing with house money for the first few days. Then it went down hill from there, went up then back down. But it was lots of fun. Besides what I spent in the casino, my ultimate dining package and taxes and things I bought is all it cost me for the cruise..... so, there are not any complaints from me. I got to sail on my most favorite ship at the last minute, it was wonderful.

As far as the casino host, I only spoke with the one guy host and I can't remember his name without going to look at some paperwork. He seemed engaged, he noticed my points on the first night and made sure to make a comment. I got to know quite a few of the regular casino gamers and a few were on the cruise with the same offer I had got and were in cc slot pull, so that was pretty cool.

Can't wait now for my cruise on Oasis in November. I'm planning now for a cruise I need to have done by March 31, 2019. I'm looking to sail on the Symphony of the Seas sometime in February or March. Then Harmony I think its in May when she first gets to Port Canaveral.

Thanks if it was a guy then it wasn’t the one I had.

I have the same dilemma as you for picking my free cruise which I am leaning towards Symphony but I would kind of like to try the Mariner. First world problems 😀

Enjoy your next one!
