ddcruise1018 Posted October 9, 2018 #1 Share Posted October 9, 2018 So when you print your set sail pass, do you laminate it or just put the paper in a lanyard. Just thinking paper might get torn etc. Or if you have the app as we are sailing on the Allure, it doesn't make a difference as we have a copy there? Clarea Posted October 9, 2018 #2 Share Posted October 9, 2018 You only need the SetSail pass for a short time until you get your SeaPass card. No need to laminate it.

grandgeezer Posted October 9, 2018 #4 Share Posted October 9, 2018 Your Set Sail Pass is used at check in and boarding the ship. Once you get your cabin key card, you’ll never need it again.

cruiseguy1016 Posted October 9, 2018 #7 Share Posted October 9, 2018 The Set Sail Pass is the piece of paper you need to check in for the cruise. Once you have checked in, you will be issued your Sea Pass which is the card you will use for the duration of your cruise. It serves as the key to your door, it is used for all on board purchases and it is your identification when getting off and back on the ship in port. On some ships you will be given your Sea Pass at check in. On other ships, you'll need to hang on to your Set Sail Pass until you are able to get to your cabin where your Sea Pass will be waiting for you. cb at sea Posted October 9, 2018 #8 Share Posted October 9, 2018 If you don't have your set sail pass, they can print it for you when you get there, if you did your "online" check-in.
