Room service menu

Does anyone have a sample menu for room service?  I believe it's 24 hours?

I just happen to have one.  I have been gathering bits and pieces of info since booking our cruise end of August 2018.

Am I right in thinking that you can have (early ish) room service breakfast on disembarkation day?  I know that on all our other cruises this option simply did not exist.

 

However, I'd gladly do either room service or Mamsens if either of those are available on disembarkation morning.  Last time on VO we simply got into our disembarkation routine which meant going to the WC for breakfast.  

 

We still haven't been to the MDR for breakfast - but we'll try that out on our next cruise later this year.

No extra charge.  You may or may not tip but no charge.

The MDR is a very civilized way to begin your day. We enjoyed it every day including debarkation day when it was very sparsely occupied.

 Room service was great.  And you can get other than menu items.  We had a pepperoni pizza delivered instead of what was listed.   Also, during their opening hours, you can get MDR or Manfredi's items delivered.  At least we could on the WC1.  Best room service we have had at sea.

Do you remember when the MDR opened for breakfast on disembark day?

MDR was open 7-8:30 on the Sun last week in Miami at the end of our cruise.

Yes, we had a delightfully unrushed breakfast before we met our driver 

in NY! They were actually ready for guests at 6:30.

That would save money on excursions.

 

Can I get wine delivered to my room?  That would be nice.

 

Don't think my partner likes room service though. 

 

He says he'll do it if we have a suite, which we don't have.  😞

I am like your partner but the table and chairs on the balcony allow for a seated meal so I can deal.

Absolutely. If you have SS Package no charge.

 

If not, usual price (no extra for delivery, except maybe small tip).

I asked .. if you have SS Package that is what they deliver (any time of the day) if you call room service.

 

It helps if you know which brand / which type you want 🍷

We booked alot of early excursions on our Homelands cruse a loved having a room service breakfast on those days.
