Though there is a large kitchen area, I didn't see a sink. There is a large table and chairs/bench seating in the kitchen area (likely seats 6 comfortably). The balcony is relatively small with two padded chairs and a large, low table - the balcony does not have a dining table of regular height and dining chairs, loungers or jacuzzi. The balcony has an overhang with some supports. The Master bedroom has a king bed that faces the ocean and a TV that comes down from the ceiling at the push of a button. There are 1 1/2 baths, with a powder room in the living area. There is a huge soaking tub in the master bathroom, with a large walk-in shower. The toilet in the Master bedroom is separated by a door. The walk-in closet is huge, with plenty of storage. All of the RS's are on deck 12, close to Luminae and a short elevator ride up to the Retreat Lounge and Sundeck. Here are some pictures from the two that I toured (12103, 12108): This is the TV being lowered in front of the bed. vtcruising Posted March 11, 2019 Author #77 Share Posted March 11, 2019 (edited) The Penthouse There are 2 PH suites on Deck 12, sleeps 6 1378 sq ft living space, 197 sq ft balcony separate living and dining areas large kitchen counter with wine refrigerator motorized drapes, touchscreen controls for lights, temperature, security system two bedrooms with king beds that can become twins large dressing room/vanity/closets two baths: Master Bath with amazing jacuzzi with ocean view, huge walk-in shower, 2 large sinks Guest Bath with entrances from living area and guest bedroom - walk-in shower with double rain shower heads long veranda, with several types of seating (couches chairs, coffee table) sun room with two chairs and coffee table with access from master bedroom upper suite amenities such as Premium Alcohol Package, Unlimited Internet, Unlimited Specialty Dining, 2 bottles of choice of alcohol and mixers, daily stocked minibar, complimentary laundry deck phone From Celebrity: virtual tour: https://thecelebritycommitment.com/360/EDGE/Penthouse_Suite/Penthouse_Suite.html PH Video: The Penthouse suite had a luxurious, contemporary feel, with lots of space. I did not see a butler's pantry, though it is listed on one website (but so is a grand piano on that same site and I don't think I would have missed that). I didn't see a sink in the kitchen counter area. The two bedrooms are on either side of the living area so there is added privacy. The master bedroom was quite roomy and has ocean views and access to a sun room. The vanity/dressing room area was pretty and there was plenty of storage space. The master bathroom is pretty amazing, with two separate sinks, a lovely walk-in shower, an amazing jacuzzi with many jets and a view, a separate toilet and bidet area. The guest bedroom was pretty good-sized for a second bedroom. It also has ocean views. The guest bathroom has a double rain shower and no tub (neither bath has a regular tub). It is connected to both the living room and guest room. The balcony is long and somewhat shallow. It runs the length of the suite, except for the sun room at one end. I was surprised not to see any loungers or foot stools or a soaking tub or dining table and chairs. There is the overhang and the support poles visible on the balcony. The furniture does look comfortable on the balcony though the sun room chairs do not look as comfortable. The PH's are all on 12 so near Luminae and the Retreat lounge and sundeck are a quick elevator ride to 15 and 16. vtcruising Posted March 12, 2019 Author #78 Share Posted March 12, 2019 (edited) Edge Villas: There are 6 Edge Villas (EV's) on 15 &16 (2-story) - 2 port, 4 starboard, they sleep 4 739 sq ft living area, 211 sq ft veranda split level living/dining area downstairs wine refrigerator 1 bedroom upstairs 2 baths Master Bath upstairs with soaking tub, walk-in shower with bench, view of ocean from sink Guest Bath downstairs with shower veranda with plunge pool/jacuzzi, lounge chairs and other lounge seating direct access to Retreat Sundeck through door on 2nd floor upper suite amenities such as Premium Alcohol Package, Unlimited Internet, Unlimited Specialty Dining, 2 bottles of choice of alcohol and mixers, daily stocked minibar, complimentary laundry deck phone From Celebrity: Video of EV 15102: https://youtu.be/n9BcC9Ts5w4 Virtual Tour: https://thecelebritycommitment.com/360/EDGE/Edge_Villa/Edge_Villa.html This is my favorite suite (if not looking for a suite for more than 2 people). It is designed to give one the feel of a villa, with beautiful emerald green tiles in the dining area and the same green throughout. The views from each room are gorgeous. Though less overall living space than some of the other upper suites, that gives it a cozy, private feel. There is a table for 4 in the dining area, a wine refrigerator, though no visible sink. The living room/dining area and one bath are downstairs, with the upstairs a large Master suite with the king bed facing the ocean, a pretty vanity and a drop down TV. Both baths have showers (and the Master also has a soaking tub and a view of the ocean over the sink) so if only two people are in the suite, each can have their own bathroom. There is tons of storage, down and up. With the walls on each side of the veranda, there is a lot of privacy, though the walls do block the views a bit. The veranda is very private, with 2 loungers, a green rocking chair and a sofa and a plunge pool/jacuzzi (which is a couple of steps up). There are live plants/flowers in window boxes on the white clapboard walls on each side of the veranda, which again fits with the villa theme. There doesn't appear to be much shade out there, though it probably depends upon the time of day. On the second floor is a private door out to the Retreat Sundeck. Lastdance Posted March 12, 2019 #80 Share Posted March 12, 2019 (edited) i find it interesting that the RS does not have a sink, but the small bathroom is close...however, for all the money, one would surely like to have a sink in the small kitchen! Also, the cube tiles could possibly make one dizzy when walking in rough seas, especially with the location...my DH hates the look of the walls on the S class ships, so makes sure he is not facing any of them...he does have a unique stomach at times too. I agree with you about the cube tiles, they make me slightly nauseous. Those tiles are popular right now. I see them on the remodeling shows. I enjoyed the neutral color palette on the Edge. I saw the cube tiles somewhere else on the ship, maybe when we toured the spa? I had to look away. Edited March 12, 2019 by first mate

It is interesting what these suites have and don't have. Going through all the info to see what they have is painful. The X site is vague and the deck plan site and other resources have a lot of wrong information. I finally went through the videos and virtual tours screen by screen, and all the pictures I could find, and came up with my best guess about what is in each suite. I can only imagine what X phone reps and TA's are telling people. The Escher-like floors in the RS are a bit dizzying in person too, though I love the look. I have had a lot of "What were they thinking?" moments while doing this overview, but also a lot of "Wow!" moments. They definitely wanted to change it up on the Edge - I am hoping to start getting some reviews on these upper level suites to see how people are enjoying them. I hope you get a move up offer that you can't refuse for an EV so that you can review it! 😉

I too would be reluctant to share the open sleeping area. Unless the universe miraculously adds a couple decimal places to my annual travel budget, I’m not likely to find out🤣

first mate Posted March 13, 2019 #87 Share Posted March 13, 2019 The Edge has neutral colors but now I’m looking at patterns in my pics. This tile floor in the Thermal suite was nice. It could be a little slippery with wet feet. Those crystals are beautiful.
TeeRick Posted March 13, 2019 #88 Share Posted March 13, 2019 If 4 adults share an Edge Villa the amount of money that would cost total would buy a small home in some parts of the US.

It's funny but I saw two "Iconic" groups on two different cruises and they looked no different than other groups onboard. More power to them to have that kind of disposable income! 🙂

In truth, many of us could splash out on an Iconic Suite once or twice, but we’d rather travel more often instead. To those who, after a long life of hard work, can afford to do both, I salute you🍷😊 Edited March 13, 2019 by Silkroad
vtcruising Posted March 15, 2019 Author #91 Share Posted March 15, 2019 (edited) And finally, the Iconic Suite: There are 2 Iconic Suites (IC) on 12 forward above the bridge - they sleep 6 1892 sq ft living area, 689 sq ft veranda large living room with sofa bed large table that seats at least 6 in-suite separate butler's pantry 2 bedrooms, each with king beds that can separate to twins 2 baths Master Bath with 2 sinks, a massive Jacuzzi tub, huge walk-in shower, separate toilet and bidet area Guest Bath with large shower huge veranda with hot tub, covered double lounger bed, lounge chairs, with forward and side views upper suite amenities such as Premium Alcohol Package, Unlimited Internet, Unlimited Specialty Dining, 2 bottles of choice of alcohol and mixers, daily stocked minibar, complimentary laundry deck phone Video: https://youtu.be/LyDSi_VCbTA Virtual Tour: https://thecelebritycommitment.com/360/EDGE/Iconic_Suite/Iconic_Suite.html From Celebrity: The Iconic Suite is certainly large and luxurious. The living room seating looks comfortable and there are ocean views everywhere. The couch is a sofa bed. This suite seems to be a mix of styles - there are some modern features, a bit of Asian (doors to Master Bath) and some more traditional luxury. It has the biggest TV on the ship on a marble (? faux) wall. There is a birdcage chair (swing) in the living room good for a photo op. There is a large dining area with a nearby Butler's pantry with sink. The table has 6 chairs, but could likely fit 2 more on the ends. The Master Bedroom is large with a wonderful ocean view and endless storage. The Master Bath is very attractive, IMO, and includes a humongous shower (in the video, he said that all 6 people could fit in there) and the Jacuzzi was also huge (and all 6 could probably fit in there too). It has two very attractive sinks and a large separate area with the toilet and bidet. It is a dream bathroom. The Guest Room is on the other side of the suite and is connected to a walk in closet area and a bathroom with shower. The bedroom has views of the ocean. The balcony is huge and has a hot tub and some nice seating with amazing views. There is a cabana with a double bed lounger. I did not see a dining table out there. I wasn't up there when the ship was moving so I'm not sure about the wind. All in all, this suite would be a lovely way to cruise - very comfortable with many luxuries. This is the view of the Iconic balcony from the Retreat Sundeck above, so not a totally private balcony. vtcruising Posted March 15, 2019 Author #92 Share Posted March 15, 2019 (edited) Sorry that it took me so long to give a synopsis on each type of Edge suite. I was hoping to get it done right after the first post, but it was difficult to figure out what actually was in each suite. There is so much misinformation online on various sites. There are going to be some disappointed people, I predict, when they don't have a piano, a Jacuzzi on their balconies, etc. as per some of the info online. Anyway, I can't guarantee that everything is accurate, but I went through the actual videos screen by screen and I think things I outlined her are pretty accurate (for now anyway). Hopefully others who have sailed in these suites will chime in over time and correct/add to the info. Here are a few more amenities of the suite life: The sparkling wine/champagne in your suite: Sky Suites and Celebrity Suites (Celebrity Blanc de Blancs): Upper Suites (Perrier Jouet) - upper suites receive in-suite Riedel glasses The Frette bathrobes are very luxurious: Nate Berkus Tote (receive on first Chic night): Toiletries: Sky Suites and Celebrity Suites (C.O. Bigelow 4004) Also receive cotton balls and q-tips Upper Suites (Santal 33) Chocolates: Sky Suites and Celebrity Suites on Chic nights (Turndown Truffles - we took some home and had them for dessert on Valentine's Day - so good!) - other nights we received regular squares Higher suites receive Turndown Delights Handmade chocolates - no photos yet Deck Phone for Upper Suites (is portable and has pre-programmed important numbers, such as butler) In the Retreat, after making reservations with the concierge, we received this in the suite that night. It helped to keep us on track instead of just getting the reservation reminder on the day of the reservation. This was what we received the night before a tender port: This was the Luggage Valet info (free for suites) Debarkation Info: As more info comes out, hopefully those sailing in suites will add to the info and pictures here. For those sailing in Edge suites, enjoy the suite life! I will not be in a suite on my next Edge cruise, but will enjoy all the wonderful things the ship has to offer! 🙂 Edited March 15, 2019 by vtcruising
Dbears Posted March 15, 2019 #93 Share Posted March 15, 2019 My wife and I will be traveling with our 25 year old daughter next year in an S2 suite that has an upper berth. Can anybody comment on three people in the S2 and the upper berth. Also, do all suite holders get complementary drinks still at the retreat lounge since only my wife and I get the drinks package on the suite. I know our daughter will want to enjoy some cocktails and it will be nice to pregame with her at the lounge.

There are no upper births in the sky suites (S2 is a Sky Suite) that I know of, and I don't think there are any on the ship, just sleeper sofas for a third person. If on the Edge (or any Celebrity ship), your daughter would indeed be welcomed in the Retreat Lounge and would receive free drinks and other benefits of the Retreat. 🙂

People have described a trundle type bed in some Edge cabins - here is a video of a regular cabin (not a suite) with a trundle to get an idea, if that is what you have. Of course, in the Sky Suite there would be a lot more room around the bed when out. Edited March 17, 2019 by vtcruising

MemeCruise Posted April 17, 2019 #100 Share Posted April 17, 2019 @Dbears We're on S2 suite with 3 persons, after turndown service the butler will have prepared the sofa's trundle as a 2nd bed. The sofa in CS is bigger, which can fit 2 extra beds, one on sofa and one on trundle. @vtc201 last night we went to le Petit Chef, had a great time! However, do you know if wine pairing (15usd in total) that comes with both menus is included in the premium drinks package (above 15usd you pay extra) ? The waitress said it's not included. So there's a confusion. I asked where it's mentioned that this was not included in premium drink package. She said she told me during ordering it's not included. At the end she said she will "arrange" something. It was a bit of an awkward situation, didn't want her to get into trouble either.
