SAmome Posted April 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2019 I know there are large claimshell umbrellas can reserve in cruise planner have a charge, but wondered if smaller umbrellas around the island that were free in the past have remained free. With fewer trees seems like shade could be harder to find. Anyone been recently and know if the trees near where the inflatable waterslide used to be remain? Paulette3028 Posted April 14, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2019 Even regular umbrellas has a fee when we were there back in November 2018. Well worth the fee!
sgk2000 Posted April 14, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2019 We were at Coco Cay last week and the umbrellas and chairs at the pool were free.
SAmome Posted April 14, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted April 14, 2019 A recent breakdown of costs just refers to it as "rental charge". I bet while the pool was new umbrellas were free but could easily change. Would be nice if they waited until some tree shade grew in first but is what it is. How much was umbrella rental back in Nov 2018? Easy enough to find an attendent to help set up? EXPERIENCE / AMENITY COST Umbrellas throughout --Rental charge

Ashland Posted April 14, 2019 #7 Share Posted April 14, 2019 Coco Cay is turning into a money pit...Next thing you know you'll have to use your SeaPass ($) to use the restroom. 1

cruisegirl1 Posted April 14, 2019 #12 Share Posted April 14, 2019 Seems strange that umbrellas at the pool are apparently free but the umbrellas on the beach were $30 when we were there two months ago. M
