We didn't bid on the Celebrity Suite, even though we love them.  We like the corner suite for a great view during an Alaska sailing.  We put bids for the Royal and Penthouse (can't beat sitting in a hot jacuzzi tub on a private balcony while looking at snow/glaciers), but doubt they will be accepted.

 

I wasn't expecting nor really wanted an upgrade from the rear corner sky suite, but my RS bid has been cancelled and my PS bid shows pending without being able to modify.  As we have never been in the PS, I bid 10% above the minimum to get a slightly better chance then the minimum bid.  I guess I will suffer sitting in the hottub watching glaciers pass me by.  🙂  Good luck on everybody's bidding.

Comments: 3 solos traveling all in Category ES solo staterooms (140 sq ft plus infinite veranda). On this cruise category ES was priced about 150% compared to having to pay 200% for solo occupancy of a standard 200 sq ft infinite veranda.
