Cozumel Resort Day Pass

We (myself & DH) are cruising Equinox 6/15.  While in Cozumel we're considering a day pass to a resort for a beach day.  I see there are a few and have mixed reviews.  Can anyone share their experience?  Thanks!

We went to Mr Sanchos last April and we intend to go next April. It was wonderful, from the service, food and the beach. Lots of great reviews.

Mr Sancho's ALL THE WAY!! It's gorgeous, excellent service!!!

I agree with the above poster for Mr.Sanchos. You get all you can eat and drink. You can splurge and get a 'cabana' that comes with a massage which is nice. Beach is nice, lots of festive music and exotic drinks! Just a fun atmosphere! 

 

Walk down a bit and you get one of those fish pedicures too!

Nachi Cocum is great if you want a nice quiet day. Mr Sanchos is too loud and too many kids.

Nachi is limited to 130 guests, everyone gets a palapa ,unlimited booze. lots of food.

We did a daypass at Hotel Cozumel that we reserved online.. We had been there previously for the Salsa, Salsa and Magarita excursion ( that was fun)

 

For a day pass, we do not recommend !

 

 We expected to pay with a credit card...but they only accepted cash up front  upon arrival.   The beautiful pool is not heated  and the water was icy cold. Lots of loungers but windy .   It's a mostly outdoor space. Because  of the wind factor,   we could not snorkel or enjoy the  small beach area across the street from the hotel.

 

The included buffet was very limited and most of the food was  inedible.  Drinks not that great.  We left early!

Nachi Cocum is lovely if you want a quiet, relaxing beach day. We enjoyed it on our very first X cruise about 10 years ago. However, now that we usually sail with drink packages, we no longer buy day passes at all-inclusives - we aren't really beach people anyway, and why pay more for something that is already paid for on board? We remain on the ship instead and enjoy the pools and ship amenities without crowds.
