Bermuda passport required

MY Daughter would like to know if a passport is required for a Cape liberty cruise To Bermuda and back to Cape liberty 5 day cruise.                                                                       Thanks for the help.

Is your daughter a US citizen?  

If so, no. Just need birth certificate and gov't issued photo identification.

Note that if the name on the birth certificate doesn't match the name on the ID (marriages, divorces, etc.), she may be asked for the "bridging documents" to connect the dots.

We will be visiting Bermuda next month for the 1st time.  We are bringing our passports.

Not sure if they will be required in Bermuda, but we will have them onboard just in case.

The birth certificate needs to be a CERTIFIED birth certificate.  (an official government issued certificate)

Passport is not needed to get off the ship.  Just your sea pass and a government issued ID like a drivers license

Correct. That is all we needed. Everything is very expensive there.

Just remember that in an emergency and you want to fly home you need a passport to enter the US.

Been to Bermuda multiple times, never been asked to provide a passport, even though we always bring ours when cruising.
