What if RCI needs to cancel a region?

it certainly does vary, for dropping Halifax from Anthems' April 2020 repo TA cruise for weather concerns(???) & leaving us with places we have already been & loads of sea days they have offered zero compensation,£150 to change to another cruise or cancel & lose £500 deposit each.

It’s £75pp to change ship/date and £150pp deposit in England?  Why are your figures so much higher?? Is that what your TA is charging💷?!

We have always paid between £500-600 each deposit(we are being quoted £600 for a P&O Med Cruise next year at present) with various TA's & were quoted £150 to change cruise by RCI.

Are you getting really cheap prices for this? We currently have a cruise package with flights and hotel stay for next year with a TA and have paid £200pp deposit. Normally if it's just cruise only we've only ever paid the standard cruise line deposit.

RCL rarely give compensation for just one port change a long time before departure, last Nov we got a complete itinerary reroute just 2 days before departure and we still got nothing at all.

Yes £75pp to change ship but on RCI site it is definitely only £150pp deposit for the cruise.  The only time it would be more is when you have flights included with low cost carriers and rci have to pay for them up front.

We certainly consider the prices we are being quoted as being very good value for money & does include flights & a number of nights in an hotel prior to the cruise, or we wouldn't be doing them,we are not exactly cruise enthusiasts but every now & then one appears which interests us,we have seen deals where the deposit has been lower but the overall price has not been competative.

We too have had a cruise with multiple changes, hurricane damage in the Caribb.,that is acceptable & understandable but to be guessing what the weather is going to be like over a year ahead is just being ridiculous IMO,any body of sea can be rough at any time, that is the part of this that really annoyed us.

Another thing that we were offered by RCI on this Anthem cruise was a price with 'All Inclusive drinks',sounded quite tempting until you realise that the price with the drink package was £1000 more!

A couple of years ago we had Izmir Turkey on our Itinerary, but because of safety issues at that time they canceled just that port and ended up replacing it with another port in Turkey (Kusadasi).

We are on that same time frame next December.  Arabian Coastal. Sailing there via Suez as well. I've never given it a thought, looking forward to returning

We are on the same cruise.  Not really concerned, but if Dubai is dropped that really messes up flights.

We have insurance that includes compensation for terrorism, not sure if that would apply.

We enjoyed the pirate drill on the Mariner going from Dubai through the Suez, booked it again in March, 2021, on the Jewel OTS.

We have this booked also, along with friends from California.  BTW there is already a roll call started.
