Check-in problem

Attempting to do my online check-in...and when I get to the section to enter my Credit Card for expenses, it keeps telling me to use a Valid Credit Card number...which I am!

Called RCCL Customer service and they said to just say "cash" instead of Credit card. and then change it on the ship...seems like that will be a Royal Pain.   anyone else have this issue?

Yes, others have had check-in issues. 

 

I'd do what the customer service people suggested.

We have done this exact thing.  Check in with CASH and then changed to  card at check in on the ship.  This was because I was waiting to get a new card in the mail before we left.

Do a cash account and then at a point in time even on the last night decide how you want to pay off any balance you might have.

I get that message when I use a card that is saved on my phone. All I have to do is delete the last number and re-enter it and the error goes away.

Yes, I had the same problem a few months ago during online check in. I did what others suggest and just put 'cash', and figured I'll sort it out on the ship.

Check the date, make sure it's just 4 digits

Also type the number completely,  dont let your OS or browser auto fill it.

Or just try again in 24 hours.  You never know with Royal's web site.

I have gotten this error before. If you are using an auto-fill program, don't. Put the CC # in by manually and it should work.

It's no "pain" at all.  Even if the computer accepted your card number, you STILL have to give them the card to "run"....so when you check in, simply tell them to use your card, and hand it over.
