Sorry - a Nieuw Amsterdam smoking question

We were on NA in April of 2017, and the casino was non-smoking after renovations to the piano bar area across the way...  I had assumed it would remain non-smoking, but the HAL website - supposedly updated to June 2019 - does NOT list Nieuw Amsterdam as one of the completely  non-smoking casinos.  Can someone who has sailed recently tell me whether HAL has reverted to smoking  in the NA casino?  Our booking depends on the answer...  Many thanks!

There should be no answers here, due to the "sticky" regarding one thread for smoking questions.  You will probably get answers where you posted your question on the Holland America Fans site on FB.

Oh for crying out loud (and I am known as usually a patient poster) - why did you create another smoking thread.

 

The answer is right on the smoking thread at the top of the page which is where ALL smoking questions are supposed to be asked.

 

And it was answered.  Why don’t you go look?

I fail to see why a second thread about smoking is worth getting nasty about.  Last I knew this is still a public forum and not everyone reads through a double digit number of pages on a topic. 

Everyone expects to get the latest info if they start a new thread.  Not a big deal.  

And I’ve seen far less pertinent questions posted over and over.  Just read past them.  

From personal experience and comments here,  rules are inconsistent on different ships, as is the enforcement of any rules in place.

Perhaps that question is not answered (yet)on the 'smoking thread"   but that is  where the question should be asked..

All posts  about smoking belong on that  thread.

 

As has  been mentioned above. 

 

 

  IMO, it is  not rude to point out to new posters things they may wish to learn about our foru,m.  If no one  tells them , how should they be expected to know?
