Parking at Port of Miami

How is parking at Port of Miami? How much is it for long term parking?

I've parked in the garages at POM when sailing other lines and it was $22 per day.  Convenient, quick, secure and covered. Others look for off site parking for less $$, but I don't like leaving my car exposed to the Florida sun for a week or more or dealing with shuttle vans to and from the off port site..

The general consensus is that one is better paying the price and parking at the Port of Miami.  Unlike Port Everglades or Port Canaveral there aren’t good secure off site options.

I use off site parking at FLL and Port Canaveral, but never in Miami. Always pay the extra and park at the pier.
