Drink cards,Buckets of beers

Hello

 

Does RCCI still offer drink cards, Eg. 8 alcoholic drinks for say 100.00 or buy 5 beers and get 6 beers in a bucket anymore.  We are on Brillance of the sea in December and really don’t drink much so an drink pkg. would not be worth it for us. Hoping they still have these specials.  Appreciate if anyone could let me know.

We sailed from Southampton Venice and Barcelona this past year and both were offered on all sailings.

The drink card offered about day three or four was of particularly good value.

Drink cards may or may not be offered on a particular sailing.  No way to know in advance.

We've been on 3 different ships in last few months - Jewel,  Serenade and Allure - and all offered buckets on domestic beers, buy 4 get 5

Beer card was offered earlier this year halfway into our cruises on Empress and Rhapsody.  $49 for 10 draft beers.

Also look for last port sail-away happy hour. On Enchantment it was $4.99 a beer.

Drink card was offered late in cruise - think it was $70 for 10 drinks (?).  Didn't end up buying it, but I might on the next cruise.

Im currently on the brilliance TA and searched compass daily. No drink specials offered like a drink card or buckets of beer unless I missed it. We have extra OBC and I would have used it for a drink card on these sea days...

We have sometimes not seen it advertised in the cruise compass but there was just a flyer on the bar.

Always ask a bartender in one of the bars. On day 3 or 4 on a 7 day they will know if it is going to be offered or not. There is way of knowing if they will or won't? I haven''t seen them offered at all this year on any of my sailings.

drink card is hit or miss .... something they'll pull out later in a trip if the booze sales are below 'budget'
