Have any of the public areas been redecorated?

ideally I’d like to see pics of coastal kitchen, concierge lounge and anything else that takes your fancy!

Everything looks fresh and new. There is also some new art on some of the landings. Concierge Lounge I have. Coastal Kitchen I will get tomorrow.

According to Royal's Club Royale booking agent Coastal Kitchen is not available for Junior Suites guest. We are booked into one for a 3/22/20 Cruise.

Do you know if the concierge lounge is open to Diamond Plus guests as it is on the Anthem?

The lounge seems to have an identity crisis. On the sign posts it says Suite Lounge and on the door it says concierge lounge. Our concierge did say yesterday that the lounge is available for Diamond +, Pinnacles and suite guests. I will ask at Coastal Kitchen tonight if it is available to Junior Suites for dinner.

Great photos Corinna.  Enjoy your day at port today.  Is it a full sailing?  Also, does Coastal Kitchen have a good variety of cuisines or is it primarily Asian (given that the cruises are marketed as a culturally enriching experience)?

There was a sign by guest services yesterday saying that the ship is full.

The menu in Coastal Kitchen is completely Western. In the main dining room there is a mix of Chinese, Indian and Western food.

Thank you for the updates. The Concierge lounge looks wonderful, is it very busy?

We are also in a JS so would appreciate knowing if we can have dinner in Coastal Kitchen.

Enjoy your cruise.

The concierge lounge is not busy at all. We were absolutely exhausted yesterday after a long day in port so I forgot to ask at Coastal Kitchen about Junior Suites. Will try to remember today.

Thanks Corinna. I do have another question if you don't mind. Did you have to pre book any of the shows or are they just first come first served?

Only Starwater needs a reservation, which can be made as soon as you get on the ship. The others are first come first served.

One thing that I also noticed was that Royal caribbean had the Diamond Lounge as not available during Singapore and China sailings

They combine it with the Suite lounge. There are fewer Diamonds+ on those sailings, and the Diamond lounge is used as a high rollers casino.

Does that mean there is no diamond lounge on the ex Singapore sailings?

On this sailing they do not. There is no lounge for diamonds. There are three drinks loaded on the Seapass card and specialty coffees are available at  the patisserie. On the ex-China sailings, the solarium doubles as the diamond lounge.

Thanks for the photos, Corinna.  Hope you are enjoying the cruise and its ports thus far!

The cruise is absolutely amazing. We loved Penang today.

Quantum has no diamond lounge. If there are a lot of diamonds, they turn one level of the Music Hall into the lounge.

Thanks for all your info Corrina

I’d be grateful if you could find out which restaurants are open for lunch on port days

We intend to stay on board on Christmas Day and would like a nice lunch

Only Windjammer, Cafe Two70, Cafe Promenade and Sorrentos are open for lunch on a port day.
