J3 guarantee question

We have booked a J3 Jr Suite guaranteed and have no idea (of course) where or what deck. Agent said they all have double bed, sofa bed and 1 Pullman. We are most concerned that it MUST have the Pullman. We are four people but must have the three sleeping spaces. Anyone know for sure?

With a guarantee you can also be assigned another cabin above that which would not have a Pullman (slim chance but it could happen)

Which makes you a bad candidate for a guarantee stateroom.  Does the savings really justify the risk of a cabin that doesn't meet your specific needs?

If you have a must, do not go with the guarantee option.

I don't recall saying anything about savings...

It was the only option available as we are very close to sail date.

I would assume you could almost always split up the bed to two twins and have the fold out sofa to give you 3 spaces?

 

i do recall that there are some higher suites that don’t allow the beds to be separated though..

Correct, those are normally only Owner's Suites, but I'm not sure that is also the case on Oasis.

I didn't think there were any JS rooms with Pullmans on Oasis?

If nothing else, though, you should be able to get a roll-away bed brought in by your room attendant.  With the JS, you'd have room for that.

But the OP needs FOUR spaces. If there is no Pullman, I’d ask for a roll away.

The JS3 sleeps 5...so it has pullmans.   BUT...that's exactly what the OP needs...a JS4 won't work..

Decks 6, 7 and 8 have the J3 that have Pullman beds

Good to know... Pullmans are getting so rare in rooms these days.

Hopefully the OP gets the desired room and not an "upgrade" away from the J3.

Just curious. I’ve done suite guarantees and junior suite guarantees but never been offered a specific category guarantee. Is that common on Oasis class ships?  Thanks.

No, and it's not common on other ships either, in the NA market.
