We were only there for a day before our voyage but enjoyed a canal cruise and an evening at the historic Tivoli Gardens.

The canal boats are part of their public transpo which makes it affordable.

These aren't the same as the canal cruise boats, although both are included with the Copenhagen Card. The canal cruises are a tourist thing, not a transportation option. Although they run from a number of different locations, they are all round trip to their starting point.

I didn't know that. But we enjoyed the others.

You have the Public transportation harbor busses and the tourist canal tours. The canal tours will sail into the canals and pass the Little Mermaid while the harbor busses only are sailing along the harbor,

But it's like an on/off and that's what we did.  And I'll speak up and say I found the Little Mermaid as underwhelming as I did when I first saw Plymouth Rock 🙂

Lol 🙂  what did you expect of a thing called The Little Mermaid,

True 🙂 Maybe "The Little-est Mermaid." BTW if you haven't seen Plymouth Rock, it's about the size of a coffee table.
