When is the Allure Getting a new musical?

saw Momma Mia on the Allure in 2018, thinking of cruising Allure again May or June, will it still be momma mia then?  Hoping it has changed

Can't seem to find out when they switch, i thought it was 2 years but now not sure.

There is no regular schedule for when shows are changed, except that if they do change, it has been during a dry dock.

 

Allure's next dry dock is supposedf to be finished in May.

We are on the TA prior to drydock. I'll see what I can find out🤔

If they kept Cats for a second 5 year run there is a good possibility that they will keep Mama Mia especially since she is going to a new market shortly after her drydock.

They did that with Liberty.  She had her Drydock shortly before moving to Galveston and they kept the same Broadway show.

Mama Mia has a simplistic set. Easy to move. CATS is massive,  but who knows. 

 

BTW, what show is Odyssey getting🤔

Music Director I my last cruise last week said the shows run for at least 5 years.

Last time we were on Allure was just after the last dry dock. It was a short five days cruise out of Barcelona. Unfortunately on the first couple of cruises after dry dock they cancelled Mamma Mia because the new cast were still rehearsing, so beware if you book on the first cruise out of dry dock

If they did change it, it would most likely be something more contemporary that appeals to younger generations.

 

I doubt it will be anything from Rogers & Hammerstein.

We are on the 1st 7day Barcelona cruise out of dry dock (May 10).  Based on Oasis I am thinking there will be revamped ice and water shows only.  We expect some new Mamma Mia cast members.    Europe is port intensive -  makes the shows lower priority this cruise.

The ice show on Oasis did not change,

 

The Aqua show and production shows did.

Thanks - they updated the ice show on Navigator with drones.   I was hoping that they would “amp” Allure ice show as well.  Symphony has new projection systems for the ice and water shows.  Would like to see the other ships upgraded to match.
