Hope you enjoy! We have cruised on Solstice twice and loved her...Auckland and Sydney are both great cities I hope you can enjoy time in both at the start/end of your cruise.

We just did the Solstice in NZ but in reverse!  We started in Auckland on Dec 2 and disembarked in Sydney on the 14th. Great ship, itinerary, food, service and crew. You’re going to have a great time!

Would love to answer any questions you might have....where in NZ are you from?  We spent three weeks following the cruise in Alexandra with family for the holidays.

I am sure you will like it.  We just did our first cruise to New Zealand earlier this month although it was a round trip from Sydney.  Solstice is a nice ship

Enjoy! We’ve cruised on the Solstice twice - Alaska and Sydney to Auckland. We’ll be back onboard in 2021.

mahdnc, that’s a great photo by waweidman. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, Will took an excellent photo as his tender was approaching Solstice.  My family and I were on the ship enjoying the scenery.

Any one got any tips for our first Celebrity Cruise??

Anything we should do? not to miss??

Can we take soft drinks on-board?

You can take soft drinks on board. Just attach a luggage label to your box. They will arrive with your suitcases.

We love the speciality dining options on the S class ships. Either look at a dining package and try them all or at least book Murano’s one night.

If you are taking soft drinks on board I assume you have no drinks package....If you don’t remember you can take two bottles of wine on board. If you have them opened in the dining room they will charge you corkage but if you open them in your room then no charge. Your room attendant will bring you ice and glasses.

Have a fantastic cruise!
