Taxi transfer from Heathrow airport hotel to Southampton Cruise terminal

We are sailing on the Azamara Quest from Southampton (10 Sept 2020) and returning by air to Heathrow Airport.  The question I have to ask is.......the best way for us is to leave our car at a park and stay hotel at Heathrow and then on return post cruise, collect our car from the hotel car park. So we need to get from a Heathrow hotel to Southampton on the morning of 10 September by taxi, can anyone suggest a reputable taxi/transfer company?

We used Airport Express.  They picked us up at our hotel, made a stop at Stonehenge, and dropped us at the port.  Professional, on time, with plenty of time at Stonehenge.

Based upon recommendations on this forum, we also used Smiths for Airports and agree with her endorsement.

We used Smiths as well. They picked us up at Southampton after our recent Celebrity Cruise and drove us to Heathrow. The driver was super-just be sure you get his # and clarify the exact pick-up spot.

For those who are looking to go from Heathrow to Southampton on the cheap.  We were pleasantly surprised with National Express...bus.  The service was excellent and very reasonable...a very comfortable ride.  We had 4 people with 12 pieces of luggage...no problem at all.  National Express terminal at Heathrow.

National Express hands down.  About $35 tourist class.  Fast, clean and very easy to locate in the airport. We were very happy with it. Take a cab to your hotel for the night.  catch the Nat Express in the morning. Easy peasie

Thanks everybody for the info you all suggested.  

I'm going to choose a taxi transfer and leave the coach transfer out, due to heavy luggage, getting to the coach terminal at LHR and from Southampton Bus Terminal to the port.

What I have gathered is to hire a taxi based in Southampton and not at LHR.
