9390 Mariner - Plenty of Pics and Paperwork 📷 📃

Not so much a review, but more of pictures of a very interesting Aft cabin.

I wasn't able to find a lot of good pics prior to booking, so here are mine.

My souvenir from the last time I sailed her

2018 Almost Global Odyssey

1484204289_marinermagnet.thumb.jpg.359ffdeab1a40fbbb9dc0d0bf86a0a5b.jpg

I also have tons of paperwork and all the compasses.

It was a 4 day cruise with two days in Coco Cay, but weather and an unfortunate accident gave us a sea day and a new day of compasses

Now you can see what they do with a compass with one hour of planning

If you want some laughs here is my last Mariner review

9390 Location

It's in the back, way in the back, trust me

BTW, the balcony isn't all nice and square like the plans say

You can even see it from the Jammer

BTW, the door swings out

Window ledge works well to store stuff, it's really deep

Tiny sofa, more of a love seat. Pretty sure this cabin only holds two

Aft cabins are all about the balcony, let's check it out

Heavy duty door. Unfortunately it did whistle a bit with all the wind we had

Two chairs and a table are tight with an outswing door

The third chair makes a nice footstool, luckily the balcony is fairly deep on the right side

Balcony next door is obviously bigger, but they don't have a Starboard view

lots of extra metal to our right

You can see the extra depth here

Better bath sink than Oasis had

Good water pressure also

Let's read some paperwork

Our crew

1423554895_Marinerjan20officers.thumb.jpg.74c927d799a9adb4989729855d1a9d8e.jpg

Our itinerary. This was originally a typical 4 day Bahamas, it changed after booking.

Now it's supposed to be 2 days at Perfect Day

Mother Nature changed it back. More on that later

tips on how to have a Perfect Day

Our disclaimer about ongoing construction

I was surprised the beach by Snack Shack was closed

I won't post the map of Coco Cay unless someone wants it, but I do like the name of the new Beach club

And here is why Mother Nature changed our itinerary

Oh, and we also got to spend the night in Nassau to avoid the sea conditions Tuesday night

Here is some paperwork for C&A diamond and higher members.

And a suite welcome letter that didn't apply to Laura and I

First off, if you are B2B, Pinnacle, or in a suite, you get to have lunch in MDR on boarding day.

This is a fairly unique situation. Most ships only do a lunch for B2B passengers

1661504718_boardinglunch.thumb.jpg.5e6c791abf6efe03ba81de0a6cc86594.jpg

Suites and Pinnacles also get breakfast in Chops every day.

Most ships that don't have a CK do that as well

Nice breakfast, but service was kind of slow

318741355_chopsbreakfast.thumb.jpg.08f84b3a7b205b3991f3679546c2c934.jpg

Diamond Concierge welcome letter goes to all guests Diamond, Diamond Plus, and Pinnacle

Pinnacle welcome letter

Suite guest letter

very similar to the Pinnacle letter

in bar list of the happy hour drink program for Diamond and up

HH menu in bar.jpg

And the list you get in your room

HH menu in cabin.jpg

The list updated this week to include virgin frozen drinks, but I hear you can get them fully loaded now

I have the compasses, plus the replacement one for our last minute sea day

I thought I would do them in a rather unique order

I will be grouping them by page, so all page ones will be on the same post, and so on

My reason is that the information contained is set up on the same page each day, so it's easy to go to 1 page to see the same stuff for the entire cruise.

Let me know what you think

Now, I'm not sure we had Tony Tillman

He was on MJ prior to us and we should have picked him up either in Coco Cay or Nassau

And since MJ never went to Nassau due to weather, who knows

1 minute ago, luv2sailAgain said:

Does the fake fridge/cooler make noise? Do you know if Harmony & Symphony have the same type of cooler?

I need something very small and quiet to keep my lunch cool at work.

Fairly quiet, no moving parts. I thought it worked well.

Laura has a small version in her bathroom at home. It's designed for beverages, but she keeps make up in it

In my experience, Harmony and Symphony have actual refrigerators with freon and a compressor
