Not so much a review, but more of pictures of a very interesting Aft cabin. 

I wasn't able to find a lot of good pics prior to booking, so here are mine.

 

My souvenir from the last time I sailed her

I also have tons of paperwork and all the compasses. 

It was a 4 day cruise with two days in Coco Cay, but weather and an unfortunate accident gave us a sea day and a new day of compasses

Now you can see what they do with a compass with one hour of planning

I have always wanted to try one of these. Spent a few weeks in the one next door on Freedom and Adventure, and peeked around the divider a bit 😁

Window ledge works well to store stuff, it's really deep

 

Tiny sofa, more of a love seat. Pretty sure this cabin only holds two

Aft cabins are all about the balcony, let's check it out

 

Heavy duty door. Unfortunately it did whistle a bit with all the wind we had

 

Two chairs and a table are tight with an outswing door

 

The third chair makes a nice footstool, luckily the balcony is fairly deep on the right side

 

Balcony next door is obviously bigger, but they don't have a Starboard view

 

lots of extra metal to our right

Perfect Day (on Tuesday 😉 )

 

Utilizing the improvised lounge chair. This balcony get's a lot of sun

Newer TV is fairly large and swivels toward the bed

Lots of drawers

 

decent storage above the TV

Lots of yarn

the crystal block box is actually a gift for Tao's son

 

Typical mirror storage on both sides

 

A real night stand

sofa is a little worn, but fine with me, it was comfy

 

Lots of hanging space

 

and some nice shelves

no robes this time

Typical bathroom, no night light though. I like that feature

 

Hanging pegs inside the door

 

Good shower

I'm 6-1, and it was plenty tall

 

Better bath sink than Oasis had

Good water pressure also

Behind mirror storage on left side

 

Shower floor doubles as a morgue for towel animals

Kept telling Bambang I didn't want to do this, but he left me no choice

Gadgets and gizmos

 

Wine/beer holder was a thermo electric cooler, but it worked very well

 

old school thermostat

wasn't working well the 1st day, but they fixed it

that note means nothing

 

one Euro plug on right

surprisingly the volume switch actually worked

 

two 120v on left

 

there is no menu

Our itinerary. This was originally a typical 4 day Bahamas, it changed after booking.

Now it's supposed to be 2 days at Perfect Day

Mother Nature changed it back. More on that later

I won't post the map of Coco Cay unless someone wants it, but I do like the name of the new Beach club

Here is some paperwork for C&A diamond and higher members.

And a suite welcome letter that didn't apply to Laura and I

 

First off, if you are B2B, Pinnacle, or in a suite, you get to have lunch in MDR on boarding day.

This is a fairly unique situation. Most ships only do a lunch for B2B passengers

 

Suites and Pinnacles also get breakfast in Chops every day. 

Most ships that don't have a CK do that as well

Nice breakfast, but service was kind of slow

 

Diamond Concierge welcome letter goes to all guests Diamond, Diamond Plus, and Pinnacle

in bar list of the happy hour drink program for Diamond and up

I have the compasses, plus the replacement one for our last minute sea day

 

I thought I would do them in a rather unique order

 

I will be grouping them by page, so all page ones will be on the same post, and so on

 

My reason is that the information contained is set up on the same page each day, so it's easy to go to 1 page to see the same stuff for the entire cruise.

Fairly quiet, no moving parts. I thought it worked well.

Laura has a small version in her bathroom at home. It's designed for beverages, but she keeps make up in it

 

In my experience, Harmony and Symphony have actual refrigerators with freon and a compressor

Was the Solarium pool open during your sailing?  I have seen many pictures from recent sailings of it full of green water and closed or empty and covered.  I am sailing soon with my Mom and she likes to use the Solarium pool.
