Summit - since refurbishment

Was theater seating updated on the recent renovation?  Just curious - the rest of the ship looks so different - didn't see any pics of the theater?

I think they may have replaced the carpet and maybe reupholstered the seats but it looks almost exactly as before -  I did notice that the "Flames" in the alcoves on the wall are gone

Jim is correct. I wish they had eliminated the lights under the little tables where you sit.

so are those really the most comfy seats at sea or are they an illusion.  very different than ncl and princess . seems like you and your special one can have  your own private sofa

Unfortunately they are not individual sofas they are just banquett  seats with an arm rest every so often.    They are fairly comfy but again most shows are only 50 minutes.

Handicapped seating is on the lower level just as you enter the theater.   Pretty good seats as long as you don't have a need to be close. 

 

Only complaint we had about Summit was lack of shade in the retreat area.  Minor thing, got to be the slowest elevator in the world going to the retreat and it would not move with wife, son and myself in it.   It was almost like an afterthought. 

 

Garage is the best especially if you have handicapped parking.  I think we walked 100 feet from our car to the terminal.

Agree. I ask the server for an extra napkin to put over the light.
