Not getting my hopes up, but has anyone that recieved docs before the next 30 days just got cancelled? Meaning the people from the first set of cancelations until the next set a few days ago. We just recieved an email with them and thinking its business as usual for now.

We were booked on the May 2nd Brilliance TA that has already been cancelled. I received our cruise docs this morning. Others on this cruise received their docs prior to the official cancellation. I doubt that receiving your cruise docs means that the cruise won't be cancelled.

From the sounds of it your cruise may still be on. Apparently your leader wants business as usual by Easter? There will be some sacrificial lambs but hey, at least the economy won't be ruined right?

We Canadians won't be able to go out of the country for awhile though......

Everybody “hopes” for an Easter resurrection, but President Trump never said it will be business as usual, nor would it be with any sacrificial lambs.
Nothing wrong  with optimistic thoughts.

Agree.  Nothing written in stone for Easter.  Sacrificial lambs very negative thinking and comment.  Now is a time to be positive and hope for better days.

The USA is now NUMBER 1 in the world for Covid-19 cases. The fact is that there are quite a number of your fellow country persons who do believe that "the cure is worse than the disease".  What would you like me to call the people who WILL die if you lift the shelter in place order prematurely?

The May 15 sailing will probably go on as normal.....well, minus Canadians (our travel ban will still be on) and people over 70 who couldn't get a Dr's note that is.

Sending thoughts and prayers......

You do realize a recession and depression will kill even more lives. Poverty kills in case your not aware. The common sense measures will not go away when economy opens. There has to be a balance, thinking otherwise is not thinking long term. Thats just pure ignorance on your part.

The Texas Lieutenant Governor is over 60 and he says he is willing to be at risk in order to get the economy going. And he is willing to risk about 68 million other Americans, too.

I have heard people wonder if comments like his disguise a desire to get rid of older people to save Social Security.

And wishful thinking on your part.

Just remember that 2009 H1N1 infected 60 million US citizens. 60 million! Over 12,000 US deaths. That president didn’t close anything. Didn’t declare a health emergency for 6 months. And didn’t get criticized for it every day.
