Thank you everyone, too many to mention in my limited time here in Amsterdam.

I’m sure that all your prayers got us in the last flight from Israel before the airport was closed down due to the missile attack.

We and our eldest son were waiting at the airport (after going through another air raid in the morning) for our delayed again and again flight to Amsterdam, in order to spend the Jewish New Year with our youngest son and his family. Our DIL will swap places with us for the 2nd half of the holidays.

We were not aware of the “news” until mid flight, when the purser recognized our eldest from his days as a FA, and told him what happened…

Again, your prayers and thoughts are much appreciated— no one from our closest was impacted. A big THANK YOU to all ❤️

🙏

Is anyone else having trouble loading “Radar’s” live thread?

When I hit on it, it continuously blanks out and tries to load over and over and then screen goes. “Unable to load, try again “.

If you meant Radio's Symphony report, yes I can click on it and read the thread.

It takes a few seconds for the photos to load but otherwise it is working for me.

It does that on my iPad, but on the PC it loads properly.  (Only on Radio's thread)

I thought it was just me.

Thanks for the replies.

Also wanted to thank spell check. I typed Radio and it corrected to Radar.

Be safe.

Our next stop in Greece was Argostoli (Kefalonia), which turned out to be a real gem.

Since all the tours offered by RC or by private companies included 2 very famous caves, and we wanted to see only one, I've tailored a one-cave tour, with additional photo-ops.

I "threatened" the "tardies" that we'll proceed without them, and it worked. For a change, they were even early...😜

Drogarati cave had very beautiful colors --

We then proceeded to 2 photo-ops --

Other 3 stops in pictoresque villages (Assos, Sami and Agia Efimia) were marred by torrential rain...

After 3 days of touring, we enjoyed a sea day.

Kotor is famous for its sail in and it didn't disappoint.

Beautiful photos Dani. We've been away on a cruise so yet again I've been off grid for two weeks, but I was thinking of you and wondering how your cruise was going.

Sounds wonderful. I hope you and Aaron and cousins all had a fab relaxing time.  If anyone deserves a break it's you and your family.

Hope all is well with you, especially with the awful news coming out of the region these last few days.  As always I'm think and praying for you and yours and wishing for calmer days ahead

Oh, no, we're staying (our tickets are) until one day after YK. No point of making such a long flight for less than 2 weeks.

The parents of our DIL and her sister, who is a teacher and has the Sukkot holiday free, are supposed to arrive a day after us.

Not sure about the "situation", we took meds for a month long stay, we might move to a hotel after our stay "expires", I have absolutely no desire to go back, unless I have to....

Wishing you peace and happiness with all the family together in Amsterdam.  Have a great holiday. So happy that you are out of the danger zone for a while at least

So happy to hear you are all in Amsterdam and I don’t blame you to stay as long as you can.  Have a great holiday!

This has happened to me for a very long time with Radio’s lives. I just gave up on reading them.  It only happens with his though. Weird but true

Our 12 nights on Anthem was great. Just back today.  So nice to just have an hours drive from the port instead of a long flight.

This was our first cruise to the Canaries and Madeira.  We also stopped in La Coruna and Lisbon. Great weather for the whole cruise,  even the Bay of Biscay behaved itself.

There were a few minor niggles, but generally everything went smoothly.  The food was fine, though we were disappointed in the bland taste of the steak in Chops. Enjoyed the entertainment and ended up most nights in the Schooner bar where there was a good pianist .  Good house band in the music hall too.

We got a royal up from OV to obstructed balcony.  Basically between two lifeboats but we were happy with it and the balcony was a little bigger.

I'll post a few pics below.
