Well we just found a sibling.  This one was in a different place but also has respiratory issues.  Sigh.  They really need to find other homes once they are well.  We already have 6. We do seem to be cat magnets.Resized_20241018_174108.thumb.jpeg.407951629364a6ae5c817721813ae106.jpeg

Oh they are so cute. I can’t believe you got them in the house. My in laws barn cats don’t get anywhere near us.

My neighbor stopped me while walking Emma a few days ago to show me a picture of their cat that had gotten out & to let them know if I see him. Emma couldn’t sniff him out.  The next day I asked if they had found their cat.  She said that they ended up finding him the house!

Totally understandable Lenny. Posting here can be a double-edge sword. An escape or link to something that you used to love to do but also a reminder that you are no longer doing it.

If you to take a break from time to time, that's okay but I hope you return. While I might not always comment or hit the like button, I always enjoy reading your posts & hope to continue reading them for a long time

Thanks,H.I wish I had the opportunity to meet you and several others.

I was on three cruises with Arzeena and her husband and seven cruises with Maple Leaf Voyage who posted here briefly in 2020.

Both couples were extremely nice .

I was also on a cruise wirh Marietta and Charlie but unfortunately we did not meet.

They were easy to catch because they are not feeling well.  We are going to work hard on socializing them so when they are healthy they eill be good pets

So wonderful that you are going to nurse them and hopefully find good homes. They are certainly adorable. Do you know what is wrong with them?

They are lucky little kittens! Hopefully their lives will be a lot better now.

…Then the motor home goes into storage in a year round temp of 55 ish degrees facility.

We just have to drain all the tanks/ lines. But do not need to winterize.

Wampum Pennsylvania just a tad north of Pittsburgh it’s  the old limestone mine.
 (Wampum mines)

If interested in this mine google it.

There is storage for just about anything.
From cars boats RVs to documents and secure areas not accessible to the general public. (Alien spaceship ) 😉

You are escorted in by attendant as well as your ride home and when you are  done leaving your winter parking spot — you are to leave via a set tunnel.

Then in the spring you call for an appointment to take it out.
And you are Assigned an escort.

This facility is massive.
I always pray that no earthquake s happen when we’re there.

It is amazing to see the strip mined tunnels.

Be safe.

I never heard of using a mine for a storage area. I had to look it up. Very interesting.

Once in a great while my step daughter will need to borrow my car.  Weeks later, we may be in it together and my car will always connect to her phone first. Not sure why. We didn't realize that the first few times it happened.  First time, a text msg comes in from Susan (not her real name). As we both have friends named Susan, I just assumed it was my friend & hit the "read" button.

Wrong.

Fortunately , it was nothing personal or embarrassing but it clearly wasn't meant for me. 😆

Our cars, Tahoes, are only able to link one phone at a time.  So if I get in the Tahoe by myself that my DH was just driving it will initially only be linked to his phone.  It will…on its own, realize his phone is out of range and search for another linked cellphone.  But since I don’t trust technology I don’t understand I make a point of going to Settings in the touch screen of the car and clicking the phone icon and selecting me to link to before I go anywhere.

If you and your step-daughter were both in the car after it had been linked to her phone it will stay linked to her phone unless you tell it otherwise.

If there are cars that can simultaneously be linked to more than one phone, I’m not aware of that.

Be careful what you're watching while sitting in the Hot Tub, just in case😉😇

Roughly 30 feet is typical of Bluetooth range, depending on how many obstacles (walls, floors, etc) are in the way. Outside with minimal obstacles, maybe longer?

When doing outdoor work, I'll often have a Bluetooth speaker or headphones to listen to music. When I'm streaming music from the indoor Alexa until, I lose the signal about 10 feet away from the house. When streaming from my cell phone, which is sitting on the outdoor table, I feel like I can be much further away than 30 feet & still get a clear signal.

Maybe it depends on which way the wind blows? 😁 (j/k)

Blue tooth, I think it is 5.4, has much better range. Since I got my Galaxy pro 3 earbuds I have found I can much better range around the Gym than I did with previous buds that I've used.

If you already have 6 what difference is there really between 6 and 8?🙂
