Today, I should have been getting ready for my first roadtrip of the season.  Leave on the 10th.  Driving from Utah to Los Angeles.  Stopping along the way to camp by Boulder, UT.  Having an excellent dinner in Boulder at the Hell's Backbone Grill (James Beard nominated).  Hike Calf Creek Falls trail.  When at Los Angeles, having the tasting dinner again at The Bazaar by Jose Andres, breakfast at Maxwell's Cafe, another dinner at one of the many udon places in LA,.  Going to Andrea Bocelli concert at Hollywood Bowl (now cancelled.  Driving down to Dana Point to have a fun weekend with girlfriends.  Spend a few nights camping on the beach.  Driving home, stopping in Las Vegas to load up the car with food from Eataly and liquor and wine from Earl's.   Too hot to camp by Vegas/Lake Mead, so stay at the Cosmopolitan using frequent Guest Points.  Dinner last night probably at Bouchon or Jaleo.  Drive the rest of the way home.   

 

Sigh.  Instead, I'm playing a couch potato while a rain storm blows through, getting depressed at the World News...

I should be off Vancouver island heading towards Victoria on the Oosterdam , wrapping up another wonderful cruise to AK.  Hopefully next year!

No, we would have landed at the airport.  Our cruise would have left tomorrow.
