Mock Booking

I tried to do a mock booking on my November 23, 2020 on the Ruby to Hawaii  but it wouldn’t allow me to complete the booking when I clicked on a stateroom. I was told to call Princess. Anyone tried & completed a new booking?

I looked at two cruises (August and December) on different ships.

 

Both let me select a stateroom and displayed pricing for that stateroom.

Above was without signing in.

 

After signing in, pricing was not available for either cruise.

 

I signed out and pricing was available again.

Other threads have talked about this as well.  It would appear that no one is able to complete a booking.  You can select a cruise and even get to the point where you are selecting a stateroom, but it won't let you complete the booking.

I could get right through paying the $520 deposit last week.

Not today. As soon as I chose the cabin the sorry page came up.  i was logged in.

 

All the prices are coming up for me: Sky from Copenhagen---and they are expensive.

I canceled our May 2020 cruise to Alaska on March 9 - I have been watching the cancellations increase ever since with about 80% of balconies currently available.  I can still book that cruise today (am currently on) although I know it will NEVER sail.

I tried a Saved cruise in Sept and a California Coastal in May 2020 both went through to room selection and price etc.

I put a hold on a May 20 Alaskan cruise on the Coral Princess this morning. It went through just fine. The cabin I picked no longer shows available and it shows in my personalizer.  I haven't received an e-mail confirmation yet.

I was able to select a cabin on my June 13 Alaska cruise and see the price and make dining choices and click continue to get to the next page to enter the passenger information. If the July 1 date for recommencement is true, then that sailing is toast.

I just tried a mock booking without signing in first. That worked & when I went to the payment page I signed in. It worked fine. It’s $560 more that my TA price.

This has been happening to me for a couple of weeks. Try refreshing the page. When I get this I refresh the page and the prices show up. It’s weird but it works.
