How to find FCC on your account?

Could someone please tell me how do I see my FCC when I log into Carnival.

Thank you.

I dont think you can see it on your account. The booking agents can see it on their screens though.. I always book through the casino department and they will move the FCC immediately instead of the "10 days" like some will claim.

From what the Carnival reps have told me, you have to give them your cancelled booking # for them to see the FCC in the system.  So, if you have had a cruise cancelled, you need to retain all of your "Cabin Confirmation" emails and other documentation from Carnival until you either have the FCC applied elsewhere or have received your refund.

Again, the Carnival rep told me (and I ASSUME this is true) that without the cancelled booking #, they can't see anything relative to the FCC and/or refund.

I really don't understand why Carnival doesn't post our FCC on our accounts for us to see.   It's a bit unsettling that they have several thousand dollars of my money and I'm trusting that it will still show up on their end when I go to re-book, and who knows whenever that will be?  Sure I have my cancelled confirmation #, but is that proof enough if down the road, Carnival just happens to have misplaced my money?  Unfortunately I paid for most of our cruise with AARP gift cards, so we can't get a cash refund, and therefore chose the FCC.   Carnival should have our FCC's stated in our accounts so we can see them when we log in!

I agree and I'll go one further...I wish Carnival had given us an additional option.  For those having excursions or other items purchased through the Fun Shops, rather than refunding that money, I wish they had allowed us to simply use ALL of our money (gratuities, port taxes, excursions, etc.) as FCC.

For Gift Card holders, this definitely would have made the whole process a lot more pain free.

Relative to your point, even if you pay with gift cards, your Cabin Confirmation should delineate MOST of your expenses giving you at least a baseline as to what Carnival owes you.  However, some expenses don't show on the Cabin Confirmation documents.  Excursions may be listed on the Cabin Confirmation, but their actual cost is not...at least on my documents they're not....also, specialty dining, internet packages, and drink packages aren't listed at all!

Also, to make things more difficult for gift card holders, Carnival apparently doesn't send email confirmations when you purchase a lot of these items so unless you keep very good records, you really don't have a record of what you spent, whereas credit card holders have an account statement that they can reference.

As I mentioned in another thread, Carnival has cancelled 3 of my cruises that I used 100% gift cards to pay for....and I'm very concerned that their #'s won't match mine when the refunds finally come.  Hopefully, I'll be proven wrong.

In the previous post, I misspoke.  When I mentioned "Cabin Confirmation", I was actually referring to the documents you can print from Carnival's website.  The actual Cabin Confirmation document only has the basic cost information (cruise fare, taxes, gratuities).

Sorry for the confusion.

Good question. It’s a simple click on a link in my account on Princess.com which displays my FCC, OBC, etc.  Not sure why Carnival can’t do the same.

How exactly does the FCC show up. Our cruise was cancelled in July, we had another cruise booked in November. Carnival moved our payment from the July Cruise to our NOvember cruise, making it paid in full.  How do they do the $600 credit.....gift card mailed, on some other form. I can't see any mention about credit when I log into our booking in November?

When we rebooked our cancelled April cruise (paid for all but $400 in gift cards) we used the entirety of the amount (including gratuities we had already paid) toward a FCC and upgraded the room on the new trip. Yeah, we have to pay gratuities again now, but I’ll let them come off the OBC on the ship.

The $600 obc should show on the booking Cabin confirmation email  . I applied my fully paid cancelled cruise funds to a booking I had made prior as well. While the obc does not show on the carnival website or app, is was on the bottom of the cabin confirmation email I received when they transferred the funds

Thank you.

According to an email from Carnival, it will not show up in cruise manager, it only shows on your cabin confirmation email. Below is a portion of the email.

"Please note this will not appear on your cruise manager however it will reflect on your revised guest confirmation listed under the Itemized Charges as On Board Credits and credits and coupons"

From the opening page on the Carnival website, click on "Manage", then "My Booking".  Then clink on the "Print Documents" link which is on the left side of the "Cruise Manager" page.  Then check the "Print General Information" box and finally, click on "Print!".

Once that document is generated, look on page 2 under the "Itemized Charges" box.  All OBC, regardless of it's origin, is shown there.

Once in your booking, look under check in, where you can print documents.  Once you select print documents, it should be in the information pages. Will show what you paid, all that info and at the bottom should say how much obc you have.  Of course this is only available if you have a new cruise booked.  Hope this helps.

I have never seen it on the account. I assume its registered somewhere in their database under your name. In any case, I would call and ask them questions before booking anything. I would also request some sort of notification or official statement about FCC credits estimated under my name just to be on the safe side. The thing is, these FCC credits are virtual money. They might experience some sort of a black out and all this data will be lost. There is nothing better than a good piece of paper with a stamp and a signature

Do you see the "Print Documents" link on the left side of the "Cruise Manager" page?  If so, click on that and a pop-up box will appear.  On that pop-up box, click the "Print General Information" box and then click "Print" which is at the bottom of the pop-up box.

I’m not sure what you mean by you can’t see your FCC. Your FCC would have been applied to the new cruise that you booked. So the amount showing as due (if any) should be less the amount of the FCC. If you are not seeing that, and it’s because you only filled out the online form, I would say that you need to call instead. From what I have seen, including my own experience, they are not doing a good job processing those online requests. But if you call, they will apply the FCC right away.
