And when I say "new" I was there in 2010 so I don't mean brand new, but new as compared to the ancient one 😁. And my photo was taken before I had a good quality digital camera on hand at all times in my phone!

Thank you. This library is amazing. I visited it as part of an Egypt tour in 2019. I really liked an exhibit there where one could virtually disect a mummy layer by layer. I also did a side trip from Alexandria to El Alamein

Maybe a section of the Bosphorus away from city....Istanbul by night?

It looks a little like that but it is hard to imagine a lack of people anywhere in Istanbul, especially a spot where they could be fishing. This one is a bit further east.

Doha is correct. It is a view from the promenade near the Museum of Islamic Art.

True, but we stayed in a hotel on the water where the "esplanade" looked exactly like that, but minus, from memory, the bollards.  It was further away from Istanbul's old central bridge, beyond the nightly-lit new span, much closer to the Black Sea.
