Lately, I have not been receiving any emails with casino offers, whether it's because of spam filters on my email client, or because they simply aren't sending any, but I have been finding that there was casino cash available for future bookings on Princess.com

Here's how to check:

1) Sign in to Princess.com

2) Click on "Future Cruise Credits"

3) Click on Onboard Credits

When booking, I simply tell my TA that I have some casino cash available and give him the "credit ID number" (blacked out far left)

That's exactly what mine looked like but with a lesser amount for the freeplay.  Still a great deal, though.

Yes, offers will vary, and my guess is that it's based on previous play, but what do I know. Anything's possible.

I don't ordinarily check such things, but this thread arose my curiosity so I checked.  Found that I have $100 casino freeplay!  Have to book by 3/2021 and sail by 12/31/2022.  I had booked my first solo cruise for next March, but that got cancelled not too long after booking.😒  So I'll try for 2022.

There may also be a free cabin attached to that free play.  My latest one is $250 in free play plus a free inside cabin.  I'm going to call after the first of the year to find out how much the buy up would be to a mini suite.  Sometimes they just tie to the discounts that you would get by using the CASINO code when booking.  I had a larger amount of free play that came with a discounted cruise for one of the VIP events.  I learned the details of both from emails that I received from the Princess Players Club but I think it you call Princess they should be able to find out what else you get other than free play (and also if there are only specific cruises that are applicable under the offer).

Question-

Can these casino credits be applied to cruises that are already booked with they fall within the promotional dates?  Or can they only be applied to 'new' bookings?  I have to rather large casino credits & I'd like to use them on an upcoming Jan 2022 Panama Canal cruise.

Thanks, just found out we had an offer there, that gave the casino cash, but thats it. Called, & turned out its along with a free balcony, need to book by Mar2'21. Dont know why we never got an email, or mailed flyer about it?? The other offer there is the VIP one which we did get the mailed flyer about.

CineGraphic thank you so much for this.  I am Elite and never knew about this.  Years ago my husband and I got the mail flyers about Casino Rates etc. but they stopped all of a sudden.  I checked my account and I too have $100 Casino Freeplay says earned 11/25/20 book by 03/02/21 and sail by 12/31/22.  I am hoping to sail summer or fall of 2021 so I will have this checked at booking time.  I made a hard copy of the page so as not to forget.  Thanks again and Merry Christmas.

We also always got mailed casino flyers, but not since covid started.

Now, on our online acct, it only says the amount of casino freeplay,(book by Mar2'21) but nothing else.

When I called , they told me we had a free balcony, up to a 20 day sailing, to go with it. Why dont they tell us that on our online offer also??

8991 - $100 Casino Freeplay (vip)  Here is what my entry looks like.  What does it mean????  How do I use it?  When I first set up my casino account does it automatically show in my bank?

VIP is Princess'es casino group program. You may have a free or discounted cabin with the offer. We recently got a VIP flyer in the regular mail. There are specific dates for it-books fast in usual times. During the week, there are casino events & gifts- a lot of fun. Call the casino dept & ask about it.

This is the first time that I have received this $100 Casino Freeplay (VIP)........and it shows that it was applied to a 2022 booking that we have. I assumed that once we got on the ship there would be a casino voucher for $100 in our cabin and that I would take it to casino to redeem for free play....no?????

You'll have a letter in your cabin for the VIP events but you just need to go to the casino cashier to activate your free play.  They should have a list of all of the folks who qualify and the amounts.  Still as others have suggested you should print out a copy of your travel summary that shows the free play just in case there's a glitch.

Got it....thanks for the clarification. I was a bit confused when someone said that you should tell your TA about it.

When using a TA to book, yes, you want to tell them that you have the offer, and give them the offer code. This has nothing to do with getting the free-play once you are on the ship.

still confused then......the offer is already assigned to my 2022 booking so what would my TA  do?

If it's already been applied, do nothing.

I only suggested that those who wanted to book, to inform their TA of the offer.

There is no free or discounted cabin with my offer.  When I was looking at the perks shown on our travel summary for our booked 2022 Alaska cruise it showed that we had the casino freeplay.
