If they are in a true studio cabin that only accomadates one guest then they would only get 2 points.

Does anyone know how fast points get added to your Crown and Anchor membership?

 

I have a 12 night cruise on Ovation of the Seas booked on the 8th of Jan in 2022 from Sydney to NZ but would be keen to do a 5 day cruise in late December to Tasmania on the Serenade of the Seas to get my my status to Emerald by the time I jump on the Ovation.

Normally it takes about a week or two and can vary...a call to RCI membership can confirm...however...sorry, not much difference between Platinum & Emerald...unless a welcome snack/beverage is important to you.

Part of it is to take advantage of the double points as much as possible.

I don't think RCC offers double points very often.

The only thing extra that Emerald offers you is a can of soda or battle of water.   Not worth booking a cruise just to reach that level. IMO

The points only begin to have value at Diamond.  Then really start to get you somewhere at Diamond Plus.
