It doesn't seem to be posted on the website yet.  This is very similar or the same as the one that was scheduled a few years ago but was cancelled when the Prinsendam was sold and the ship was moved elsewhere to cover the Prinsendam itineraries.

Alberta Quilter--I know this is not on the Holland website yet, but we are interested in booking--what is the name on the voyage? We use a TA and not a PCC so I don't know whether they can book it yet or just PCC's. Thanks for any info you can provide!

We called our PCC this a.m and there were notes in the system saying DO NOT BOOK YET

Apparently the system opened briefly by accident so a few bookings were taken but it is unbookable at this time. Our PCC called about it but no idea what the hold up is.

It will be bookable but there is something unfinished or some other reason for the Stop.

I'm sorry, Cailey, my PCC didn't provide the name of this voyage.

That's interesting; I guess I was lucky.  I hope it will be open for booking soon.

We have been looking at a cruise called "Viking Passage" for some years, the VOV always seems too extensive and expensive...  That may be the name of the one you are thinking of.  It used to include the Faroes and the Shetland Islands, but I think they eventually took off the Faroes because it was so difficult to tender and often was cancelled, so passengers complained.   We actually had it booked for 2020, but of course it was cancelled.  It is usually in August.

Me again!  I just looked at my booking confirmation.  It's called 24 Day Canada, New England & Iceland.

In 2022 The Voyage of the Vikings will be 35 days roundtrip Boston on Zaandam July 9th through August 13th.

The Viking Passage is on Nieuw Statendam one-way from Copenhagen to Boston.  It is bookable as either an 18 day crossing July 16th to August 3rd, or as a 28 day Collectors cruise including a 10 day Baltic sailing July 6th to August 3rd.

The 24 day Greenland/Iceland/Canada sailing has not yet been officially opened for sale but it will take place August 3rd 2022 on Nieuw Statendam.  It will also be roundtrip Boston.  I do not have an itinerary name for it yet.

The remainder of the Canada/NE 2022 sailings on both Zaandam and Nieuw Statendam will be released in the next few months (no date projected).

I am looking forward to this itinerary to be published and open for booking.  Does anyone know what the deposit is?  I already have $1000 invested in cruise lines(HAL and Princess) although I am fairly certain my Westerdam October cruise is not going to go.  I could transfer my deposit to this one if this is the case, but, not sure I want to wait for it to be cancelled.

My PCC had to use three of our $100 FCDs ($300 in total) to secure this booking, if that helps.  I thought we would have to pay $300/person...

Thank you.  Unfortunately, our $100 FCDs are being used on our 26 Day Westerdam cruise, plus we needed to pay $400 total.

Now open for booking.  I have one on hold, and I am 99.5% sure I will be making deposit on.

I am so excited.  Deposit is $600 total.

Are you talking about the 24 night on Nieuw Statendam in August 2022?  If so, I don't see it on HAL's site yet so where are you seeing it?  Thx.

Yes, it was just there!  I had to end up calling because it just spun when I wanted to book a particular room.  I searched August 2022, then Nieuw Statendam.  I will go back again, and see if it gone now.

ETA:  It is there

It's there--it just doesn't come up when you try and narrow the search down too much. I finally got it to come up by just searching by cruises leaving from Boston.  We called our TA and she's working on our booking. It looks like a wonderful itinerary.

Thanks.  Great itinerary that we'd consider booking had we not done all but 2 of the Canadian ports.  However, friends are considering it so I've been watching for them.

That’s great!  I have more confidence in being able to go on this cruise than the other one we’re both booked for.

We just booked Copenhagen to Boston July 2022 on N. Statendam. It stops in Canada, Iceland and Greenland.

There are several cruises to Iceland. And also some others to Iceland and Spitsbergen. The schedule is there.

We did to!  I started a roll call!

Celebrity Summit has Greenland,Iceland,Canada Cruise for August 2022. Just an FYI

Of late we have mainly cruised Celebrity(14) versus Holland(9).  I noticed this itinerary and have much better pricing with HAL with my casino discount.  We have enjoyed the Summit many times, but, am looking forward to all the Nieuw Statendam has to offer.  This will be a new ship for us.  But, thank you for mentioning as this may help some others.

Princess also have an offering on the Caribbean Princess - 16 days R/T NYC to Greenland and Canada only, no Iceland

The Celebrity offering are two one way sailings, each 12 nights.  The first is Eastbound Cape Liberty to Reykjavik, the second is West bound Reykjavik to Boston.  All ports are identical.

I think the HAL itinerary is the best of the lot (though one additional stop on Greenland would be nice), and reinforces my opinion that they are more a destination/itinerary leader vs Celebrity and Princess.  The latter are serving the market, but not as well.

Ooops.  I also started a roll call - do we have two now?

I think Cruzin Susan started a roll call for the Copenhagen to Boston cruise. At least I think that’s what she meant since she quoted Cruiser Bruce’s post.
