We never receive any actual mail about offers for some reason and have not received an email about either. I want to book another Princess cruise to replace another cancelled one but last time I called to get available dates they wouldn't give me the VIP cruises just asked what date I wanted to check for. A tab at top of page should say casino offer, recent searches etc click on casino tab and the cruises with offer shows up. triple7tahoe Posted March 17, 2021 #6 Share Posted March 17, 2021 I was talking with Casino Hostess (bookings) today to ask about available cruises to replace my canceled (yesterday) VIP cruise out of Seattle in June- I asked if I could transfer the offer to another cruise and was told "Only to the similar cruise next year [2022]. She then said that there Princess was working on another set of "VIP cruises" but it had not been published yet and she could not access them. I get Casino discount on regular fares through my TA but there were offers on the cancelled cruise (Free Balcony plus VIP amenities) that he cannot get for me. Casino host said to expect something similar in the next few days??? I think I have had 6 canceled Casino cruises so far; Moved one to next year and even then I had to ask for refund and then rebook with new deposit + port fees/taxes paid up front-they could not switch from canceled cruise. On a separate note, I found that when I was able to use Casino discount as opposed to published or returning passenger fares, I was able to come close to what was being offered by the Casino and did not have to put out all those deposits/ fees/ taxes and port charges. I actually canceled one cruise and moved to my TA-I felt he needed to get some credit since the present conditions have come close to ending his TA career 😞 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

She said to call back the next day or day after. Lo and behold I got an email for the offer yesterday. Not much choice in Caribbean cruises but will think about what is available. Also when I was looking online on those available casino prices were not showing. Maybe when Princess closes down tomorrow they will fix things. My casino offers do not show up in Personalizer all the time. I log on n, go back to my email click on offer, takes me to casino tab when I do cruise search. Our offer was for a discounted cabin but had more generous free play than our recent free cabin offers and has the usual "VIP benefits". Screen shots are below and the listed cruises match what comes up when I click on the link in the email to launch to the website. triple7tahoe Posted March 21, 2021 #12 Share Posted March 21, 2021 Also got the email yesterday (must be what Casino Hostess was talking about earlier this week 🙂 ) Many good looking cruises but sad to say that almost all conflict with others I have already booked. Either they start or finish at the wrong times. One exception is the Alaska on Discovery next June. That would replace similar one we had booked for this June (6th) that has been canceled. I've had casino cash moved a couple of times already by writing to them. Of course the cruises we moved it to subsequently cancelled too and the other cruises we still have booked already are under casino offers with free play. Have they done away with that with the push for getting passengers to upgrade to the higher level of booking that includes beverages, wi-fi, etc? Pre covid it included the Princess Plus package, the 2 I have booked now do not. As to the freebies, the next 2 are my first VIP free cruises so I'm curious as what else we get once on board. The one that I booked on the most recent deal, we got 11 days round trip out of Copenhagen in a mini suite for 2700 for 2 people. That was with me upgrading the room, paying for the insurance and adding Princess Plus. It would normally have been $8208 without the insurance added. We've gotten beach towels, nice crystal glasses etched with the Princess logo, and lots of other treats in the room each day like a bottle of champagne, bottle of wine, chocolate dipped strawberries, and a tin with chocolate truffles. In the past they also gave us a lanyard with a badge to wear in the casino which gave us entry to special tournaments / games and also afforded us free drinks in the casino. Not sure if they will still have the daily games etc. I know that some of the more hard-core gamblers would get excursions or specialty dining but we never gambled enough to get the former, have gotten the latter on a couple of regular cruises. One thing I noticed was you could book up to three of the offered cruises using the code. Clearly says on the offer that upgrade to get drinks, Wi-Fi and gratuities. Book by April 27th. I emailed, as suggested on Saturday and I am still waiting for an answer. I tried calling yesterday and it was suggested that email would be faster---I will call again tomorrow . I do see on the Alaska offerings that one could take the June 11th on the Emerald and then take the June 19th on the Discovery. The lady I spoke with did say we could book up to three cruises under this offer. At the same time she had no clue regarding the two possible Alaska cruises one day apart. I told her I had the brochure in front of me with the listing so she took a few minutes to confirm that I was correct. Always a good feeling and she did say I could book both under this offer.
