Internet Purchase - Best Price

We are Emerald on Royal and I believe we had some type of discount on an internet package. I also know that the price is often less if purchased online prior to sailing. Do they automatically apply the discount if I purchase before the cruise and if not, is it still cheaper ahead of time? I’m assuming things will be the same as prior COVID cruises in this area. Thanks.

No and yes, usually. The C&A discount only applies on board, like most perks.

Typically Platinum and Emerald get 15% off the price of Voom packages purchased on board.  These CAS discounts are on board only, not in advance in the cruise planner.

 

Voom pricing on board is generally substantially higher compared to what was the norm in the cruise planner past.  

 

If you are looking to have Voom for the full cruise as an Emerald you will better off buying it in advance.  If you can wait a few days and buy it mid-cruise you can save some using the CAS Emerald discount on board.
