I got up at 3am to watch the spaced launch. Of course watching it from a hotel parking lot isn’t going to be good enough for me so I was grunt to make it to the beach. There was lightning the whole way so I knew it was unlikely. Then with 8:40 till launch they scrubbed it.

I took a look at Mardi Gras position to see if that’s something  worth pursuing. If I knew she’d be in at 5 I’d do it but o don’t know maybe it’ll be 6 or later.

We once had a cruise that was extended 2 days due to a hurricane not allowing the ship to get back to Fort Lauderdale. On one of those extra days she was in the pool early in the morning, and the water looked like the ocean large waves. She said swimming one way was easy, the other way against the current was difficult. One other person along with me was there and watched; he was impressed with her dedication for swimming.

 

They did drain the pool later, or she would have probably been back that afternoon.

This is right next door. It sounded like someone was filling an ice chest in the middle of the night. It was before the launch time so I thought maybe someone was loading up their coola for the launch.
