Departing Ship before 10am

I see that RC has a thing called the Key.  I have a family of 4, I would like to be off the ship earlier.  Is there some sort of VIP to pay for or is the Key the only thing?

No need to buy the key to get off the ship early.    You can typically walk off the ship between 7 or 8 am and they like to have everyone off by 9:30 am.

For most ships now, the "all off" time is 9:00am, then back to back cruisers by 9:30am.  With self assist, you can get off as early as 7:15 am typically.

The key for a family of four would run well over $800 for seven nights.

If you can carry your own luggage, you can walk off super-duper early; the line often starts before 7:00. 

If you're going to be picking up your luggage in the terminal and you're cruising during times of COVID-inspired reduced capacity, the latest you'll get off is likely in the 8:30 range. 

All without paying an extra dime.

On Symphony two weeks ago, the earliest time off the ship was 7-7:30 if doing self assist.  The latest time off the ship was 9:30.  For those who were not taking their own luggage, the debarkation time started at 8:30.

On Oasis in September we carried our own luggage and they opened the gangway at 6:45 and we were in our car by 6:50. We were literally the first people to the facial recognition iPads.
