Room Service Coffee

On the Grand.  Is it decent?

Call room service and you will receive coffee from a liquid concentrate. If you have a coffee package or plus fare you can order brewed coffee at no extra charge through the app or tv. If you do not have a beverage package you can still order brewed but there is a charge.

Coffee, like any food, is entirely subjective.  One persons gourmet coffee is another person's mud.  As above you just have to try it to determine which it is for you.  Good luck.

Like ground coffee, the concentrate is available at different price points for different quality levels.

 

It is suspected that Princess is not purchasing the highest quality liquid concentrate.

Our experience with room service coffee is that it is never hot enough.  It comes in an insulated jug but it is tepid at best.  At least in the buffet the coffee is hot.

I was on the Grand Last week. I ordered coffee every morning and it came hot. It was just fine, I liked it.

I've always found it's just as easy to go to the IC & get 2 cups of HOT coffee. 

Sometimes what they bring to the room can be just so-so.

By the time I add milk it becomes lukewarm.

Just a note that  Coffee delivered with your breakfast room service is free, coffee delivered any other time is either charged or you need to use your drink pkg.  (the choices through the App or TV come from the IC)

Although room service coffee in the morning is not the best, we could always manage to drink it.

However on recent Majestic Princess, the worst room service coffee I have ever drank.The buffet coffee and dining room was okay but that room service was mud. We had the drink package and once dressed, went to IC and got good coffee. Also Princess Live bar  on deck 7 had great coffee,  didn't have brewed but only specialty coffee and was delicious.

We will be on the Grand shortly and am taking Starbucks Via with us. Will just order hot water and mix in the Via. We like to have room service in the early morning   to start our day.Then on the IC later for some good stuff.

I can pretty much guarantee that it is NOT the highest quality liquid concentrate. Oh, but that it were.   😆

For some reason the TV and App menu does not give the option to order a free pot of coffee or a free pot of tea but if you call room service you can still get the complimentary coffee and tea.  If you order through the app or TV you get specialty coffee or tea from the International Cafe which does have a charge.

 

hopefully this is an oversight and the items will be added in the future.
