Question about booking specialty dining on the ship

We have always been happy with the food in the main dining room with Royal Caribbean. For a change for our upcoming cruise next month we bought the three night specialty dining package for the odyssey of the seas. I know they have already made a reservation for the second night at 6 PM for us at one of their specialty restaurants. Just wondering when we board the ship where we go to find out what restaurant this reservation is at, and where we can go to book our other two dinners on a three night package since we have specific nights and venues we would like to dine at?

 

Is there a certain location we can go to on the ship to get all of this arranged for all the venues at one time? Do we have to go to each specialty restaurant individually to arrange it? Can it be done through the app or is it best to just go do it in person?

go to any restaurant, the person manning the station can make your reservations at all the specialty restaurants for the duration of your cruise. You can't make reservations on the app once you board as the app won't/can't recognize that you have a package.

You can go to any restaurant to make all of your reservations. And you can make the day 2 reservation anywhere you wish. It probably doesn't actually exist.

Thanks.  That is what I needed to know.  Skip the app, go straight to ONE specialty restaurant when boarding, make reservations for the entire cruise for different venues from that single location.  Thanks again

You won't even have to go to a specific venue...The minute you board they'll be staff everywhere offering to help with dining.

yes in some cases booking specialty dining is easier than the shows.

Would be helpful if you mentioned the vessel as that would help in guiding to the many restaurants.  For instance, on Oasis most of the SR are located in the Central Park.  Also, you will find a kiosk in the Promenade of staff taking SR orders and modifications.

Any RCI ships the moment you step onboard there will be staff ready (walking around) to sign you up for any dining venue's you may want. We're usually approached instantly. This was certainly the case a couple of weeks ago on Navigator but I can't remember any ships we've been on that we had to hunt for staff to sign up.
