Live from Wonder of the Seas! March 4 to 11, 2022 Inaugural Cruise!

Recommended Posts

I never tried to book the UDP for this cruise and I suspect the primary specialty venues will be pretty busy.  UDP is so much food.  I haven't been doing it lately and I've had a number of Chops and Giovanni's meals on other ship recently so I'm giving my waistline a break.

I may try The Mason Jar assuming it's easier to get into and a Playmakers Burger is always worth the money so that may be the extent of my extra cost dining.

I'm a Windjammer dinner kind of cruiser and I'm really interested to see how this new WJ design for this class works out so that will fulfill a few dinners for me.  I'll try the MDR once or twice to check out the venue decor more than the food which I expect to be standard Royal MDR food.

Lots of pics of decks 17 and 18 please😁

Not sure how much access I'll get this time.  No pins allowed in the SL.

I'm back in a few weeks and I'll test the new access rules after March 15 if the numbers work out in my favor.

I've seen way too many people fumbling through their phone trying to find test results and the setsail pass holding up the line for everyone else so I print everything.  Even the terminal workers are shaking their heads.  I walk up to that first checkpoint and I'm through in under 10 seconds.  Passport card, vax card, test results and SetSail all ready to go.

I'm with you on this one thing.  I like to have paper and everything in hand.  Sure makes it easier for all that need to see it.  Moves the process along much better.

Twangster- your reviews and photos are great!

I see that Phoenix will be the cover band for 2 weeks. Their website has them cruising on the high seas this summer but does include the ship. If you could ask one of the band members if they are scheduled for the Wonder, I would appreciate it!  My husband really enjoys their music!  TIA. 😀

You should score some time in CK. Assuming they are connected and open to each other.

And the suite deck on rest of fleet is Pin friendly 😉

Game plan is a direct line to CK upon boarding.  I only want one night so it's not like I'm trying to impact CK in a significant way.

We board Symphony on Saturday. Always go to CK first, it's just a habit😁

BTW, are you worried about parking

Still waiting on my Pinnacle Pin...been almost 4 months.  I've had 7 cruises since then without it. Would be nice to have.

I do too, but on our next cruise, we won't be home to print the test results.  I guess I will just snap screenshots of our negative results, so they can be pulled up quickly on the phone, one after the other.  Unless I haul our printer to the AirBnB and leave in the car for 10 days.......hmmm, that's a thought.  🤣

Back to the cruise, thanks for taking us along, @twangster!  Have a great time!!

I tend to blend into the crowd.  This time I might stand out a bit.  360 camera on my hat.

My boarding look.  Hope to post the video of boarding later tomorrow night or Saturday.

My brain just flashed to Wilson on Home Improvement. 🤣  Then I noticed the cap.  Cool! 😀

Guest BigRoger

Brilliant thank you for doing this…. Will be following with great interest…. Please keep her safe for the transatlantic!

The early RC staff and press videos show she is a real beauty…. Then again all the Oasis class ships are just simply amazing….
