Here is a video from our room on the Discovery Princess.  We are on a two day cruise and I will be sharing information as we go along.

Is the 2 day media tour? Great video.

We checked in and boarded at 92.  I will update you when we get off.  And this is a 2 day media and TA cruise.  The ship is amazing, we ate at Le Mer tonight and that was incredible.

So exciting to see the video as we will be boarding in two weeks---would love to see another room video other than handicapped.  Did notice the many drawers is that room and dividing curtain looks so colorful rather than usual tan/brown.

Were you on the 7 day?

I don’t think this was the seven day inaugural cruise on March 27. I believe it was from the 2 day media ,travel agents, and invited guest cruise .( the accessible cabin video)

misguy said so in post # 9 by the author/op.

My mom and her husband are on The Discovery this week they left on April 3.  So far I have not seen a Live from the Discovery for April 3 ,only thing I can see is some people posting under their Roll Call. My mom is on cruise critic ,but she rarely posts or looks ,she’s just not interested in being attached to an Internet device while on a cruise.

These were from the Travel Agent Cruise, which is why they are a little shorter than usual, I was trying to film before all the travel agents got on board and you could move in the cabins.

I was going to ask this earlier but I refrained.  Just keep in mind that this was a smaller pre-inaugural sailing for invitees so it may not represent the circus show that may come to town over the next week or two.  Still, inquiring minds should want to know.

We did not have a standard disembarkation process.  Since we never stopped in a foreign port, we didn't have to clear customs.  This means we just got off a ship and got dropped at the terminal.

These are pictures of the aft sky deck from last week. A lot fewer loungers than when he was on board. The orange couches are for smokers so that deck is pretty unusable for non smokers. Also he says the retreat area is not open to the general population and that is not true. It is adult only.

Wow on Casino, sensory overload!  It is so much bigger than the older ships that I am used to.  Thanks for taking time to do the videos.

video makes it look larger than it is.  We were on Majestic and there are probably 120 -130 machines.  We are now on Discovery, the room is larger, and we counted appox 170 machines and the table games are not jammed into each other.  It is nicer, but not huge.  I did have a problem using the medallion on the machines.  Some would accept my medallion and others would not - so didn't get to play them all.
