Table of Eight

We will be sailing on the Regent Splendor as a family of eight in Concierge cabins. Will it be difficult to reserve a table for eight in all of the different restaurants. We also enjoy dining outside on the Verandah for lunch, where you cannot reserve a table before hand. Will it be difficult for them to set up a table for eight of us without a prior reservation?

Also, how soon before sailing can we make reservations, and how often in each venue can we make a reservation?

I think some meals you will need to divide into 2 smaller groups.  O

There are tables for 8 in all the restaurants on the Splendor.

They can and will do 8 in all restaurants.

You can make reservations for Prime7, Chartreuse, and Pacific Rim - no problem with getting an 8-top.  La Veranda, Compass Rose and Sette Mare do not accept reservations.

Thank you for your replies. Do you know how soon after making cruise deposit can you start to make dinner reservations? Also, if Concierge, do,you know how many reservations are allowed to be made in advance in each specialty restaurant.

The Guest Statement/Invoice I receive from my Travel Agent includes the dates for making dining reservations and reserving shore excursions.  The details follow the itinerary listing.

  There will be eight of us traveling together, each in Concierge class. Are we able to make 4 different reservations for each dining venue, or just one reservation if we all dine together?

One, you will need all four booking numbers to make a single reservation for table of 8.

And the date for making the dining reservations plus the link for the same will appear under the details for your cruise when you add it to your "My Cruises" section on the Regent web site.  You'll need to provide the details (booking number, ship and dates) to add it, but then it'll be "sticky" with dates and links for all pre-arranged activities: excursions & restaurant reservations, health certificates, etc.

As mrlevin pointed out - the reservation will count as the one for each of the guests in your party as to be fair to all guests onboard.
