When I sailed twice since the restart here's what I found missing

The sleep bag amenity wasn't available

The gold mesh upgraded bathroom amenity wasn't available

The bath salts weren't there

the q-tip holder wasn't available

the 2 bottles of water had to asked for, not automatically given every day

chrome pen and paper not available

no sewing kit upon request

no leather holder for my cruise card (YES I didn't use the medallion)

I don't use room service for dinner so didn't make note if the MDR menu was available

I feel stupid as I didn't know these are supposed to be in the Suites.

What upgraded bath amenities are supposed to be there?  When watching different room tour video's, I've seen two different brands talked about.

I wonder if because of the pandemic protocols, Princess has to discard the highlighted items if the cabin occupants don't use them during their cruise? That could get quite costly. I know when we book a suite, we never use any of the items, other than the water of course and maybe the pen and paper. My guess is they didn't prior to the pandemic. Just a guess ...

I found this insert on my app.  I verified with my room steward because I was concerned that they had added more tasks for him.  He did voice a concern about unpacking.  He did not want to be accused of taking anything.  He was willing to help passengers lift the bags on/off the bed.  I can see why he would be worried if a passenger asked for him to do the (un)packing.

In my opinion, Princess seems to be removing suite perks every time I cruise.  Confirmed:  No salts for bathtub.  No nice amenity bag or any kind.  I did get 2 q-tips/emery board/shower cap.  No suite canvas bag (only blue one).  No shoe bags.  No cloth laundry bags.  Laundry was returned after dinner, if out by 9 AM.  No laundry on turn around day.  No more chemical cleaning.  Only laundry and pressing service now.

What was the most painful was the shuttle tickets I received for priority boarding.  When I tried to get on one going to Loreto at 10 AM, the line was crazy and chaotic.  I went up to security and showed them my "pass".  I was told to get in the back of the long line.  I marched myself up to the Customer Service Desk and told them they needed to get an officer downstairs to monitor the crowd.  Then I hid out in my suite for another 45 minutes before trying the shuttle again.

Over the years (since I've been traveling), we have lost:  personalized stationery, the nice silver pen, postcards, comment cards, chocolate strawberries, and even the chocolates on the pillows (stated above).  Flowers for formal night.

I could not get reservations for specialty dining on the DMW app.  But magically, I was assisted with whatever time I wanted.  I attribute this to being in a suite.

Regardless of the lost perks, I am still happy to be able to cruise in a (Window) suite.

Ran out of edit time before I could make these changes.

Did you get the promised chocolates on the pillow each evening?

Now that is a big change affecting all passengers.

Some clothing cannot go through normal laundry and must have today's equivalent of "dry cleaning."

So you type IMWTK and the YOU want someone to give more detail on their post!?!

Easy Peasy

IMWTK = Inquiring Minds Want To Know

IIRC = If I Recall Correctly

AFAIK = As Far As I Know

there are more. When I see an abbreviation that I'm not familiar with...Google is my friend. 🤫

Are you saying you got ALL of the promised amenities? There've been lots of reports that some things have been skimpy/non-existent.

For the most part we had everything and sometimes a little more. I believe the only thing we received in the past but not on this cruise was the cloth Princess bag.

Small Differences - The minibar each week was random - some weeks we received 6 vodka instead of other types, that type of thing.  No shortage though.  The upgraded toiletries kit may have been smaller but we never use it anyway so really can't comment.  The last thing was that the flowers were not replaced week to week.

On the plus side - two out of three weeks we received a small bottle of high end champagne from the Captain - yes good quality champagne and not cheap sparking.  We are still not sure why.

The other thing was that the Suite Concierge Host was EXCELLENT, as was the rest of the staff in the Suite Lounge.

We had the shoe bag, cloth laundry bag, lint brush, and sewing kit.

I didn't talk about the chocolate coated strawberries or personalized stationary as these items were gone before Covid.  I can't remember if the post card was still available pre-Covid, but there wasn't one now.

I can confirm that there wasn't a pen or any paper but both were easy to get from the lounge or passenger services.  Have to say that in the present environment I wouldn't want it anyway if used by another passenger.

Good to hear. Was there an expanded room service menu. ?  Can you order from main dining room when they are open?

We didn't use the service but were informed that we could have meals delivered.

Same for me on Caribbean Princess, March 2022. Also no shoe shining service.

I know how to google things. And I know what you were typing but then you complained that they didn’t explain themselves.  That’s my point. And maybe words are better.  Neither one of us is 15.  But then again I “do” selfies, so maybe it’s me. 🤪

People should understand that the suite lounge is only on Royal class ships not on Grand class

Our b2b Feb. 28 & March 10 on the Enchanted we didn't have any of these either.  Our emery board & shower cap were folded into a wash cloth.

However we did get lots of medallions--DH's had to be replaced 5x on embarkation day, and by the end of the cruise he had 8 new ones.  I "only" had to have 4 replaced.  😆

Is strictly pressing services still offered and if so how long to get back ?  My first formal day should be 2days after boarding

Yes, pressing service is still available.

If you are in a suite...turn it over to your steward upon embarkation or at the latest, 9 AM on the second day.  You will get it back by the evening (same day service).
