Embark day, lunch on Apex

We usually always book concierge level and have concierge lunch on embark day. We are booked on Apex in June out of Amsterdam and didn’t want the infinite veranda so we snagged a sunset veranda. If you have sailed on Apex can you suggest another lunch venue other than the buffet? TIA

I am on Apex now and the Eden Cafe was not open for lunch on embarkation day.

Exactly. I've been E-Class ships four times, twice before Covid and on the Edge and Apex since the restart and on all four cruises The Eden Cafe has never been open on embarkation day. It was never meant to be since I was on The Edge's maiden voyage and it wasn't open then.

Eden Cafe was open on Embarkation Day Dec 27 21 NYE Cruise, four of us dined there for lunch.

We are on the Apex TA on Saturday, it is our first choice on Embarkation day.

Your mileage may vary...

Shhhhh...it is awful, horrible, terrible, along with yucky cabin to book.  We all hate them because the walk is so long that you forget why you walked that far!  Shhhh...it is like being in a very long train tunnel.  Stop winking!

You got lucky.  It wasn’t open for our embarkation day.  We did go another day and unfortunately it has been discovered.  It was very crowded and even a with a lot more seating there folks standing with their food waiting for a place to sit.

Le Grand Bistro.  We had lunch every day there on the Edge two weeks ago.  This is a link to a video that I made with all the plats du Jour.  https://www.instagram.com/tv/Ccg3ppVIbF3/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
