Rare mahdnc Posted May 18, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2022 We have been on Horizon once but never got around to sailing on Zenith before she was transferred out of the fleet. Here is some news on her that came out the past few days: https://www.tradewindsnews.com/cruise-and-ferry/unwanted-japanese-cruise-ship-changes-hands/2-1-1220494 https://www.cruiseindustrynews.com/cruise-news/27453-zenith-s-future-questionable-as-peace-boat-cancels-ship-s-schedule.html
mikewomb Posted May 18, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2022 (edited) That was our first cruise with Celebrity. Really liked it. We also did a South America trip on her, and maybe one other. Nice size. http://www.cruise-ships.com/photos/1030/ Edited May 18, 2022 by mikewomb

Ontario Cruiser Posted May 18, 2022 #4 Share Posted May 18, 2022 This was our first cruise with Celebrity we are Elite Plus now. Unfortunately we haven't sailed in two years. Now we have health issues. I really miss cruising. Sherrill Peterborough ON
Ontario Cruiser Posted May 18, 2022 #5 Share Posted May 18, 2022 I just remembered that we had been on Regent HolidayCruises before Celebrity. They would charter cruises leaving from Toronto including air. Ontario Cruiser

A truly unique itinerary that I presume is not navigable by today's large ships.

Elvis1209 Posted February 7 #10 Share Posted February 7 My first cruise in 2001 was on Zenith. We went to Bermuda with Horizon. We went to Hamilton and the other ship went to St. George's. After two days we switched! Those ships were small enough to get into those two ports. Of course, today's big ships have to dock at the Naval Yard. They even had inside bars where I could have my cigar and cognac every night! They were the good old days of cruising! Elvis
