We received a casino offer a casino offer on 5/4. Since that time I have tried to call 8 times only to get "all representatives are currently busy, blah, blah, blah". I have sat no less that 2 hours, and no one ever comes on. I have called different times of the day. Last Sunday, I called about close to closeing time, and after sitting on hold for an hour, I got an " Our offices are now closed!" GRRRRR

I know they said you could e-mail the casino and the offer would be handled as long as it was sent before the offer expired. So I did on 5/12. On This Tues, I was able to get through on chat and I was told they have not even started to go through e-mails yet, and have no ETA when they would start. You cannot book the casino offers on your own, and I am watching the inventory of rooms go down each day.

Does anyone know another way to get through?????? Or advice?

I call right when they open up in the morning...put my phone on speaker and then go about my day.  Eventually someone picks up.

I also start calling about 3 minutes before they open and then I keep hitting redial until I finally get in the recording (blah, blah, blah) then I put it on speaker phone.   I found they answered fastest this way.   The prior 2 times I called around 11:00 a.m.  PST and I was on hold 2.75 hours and 2 hours.   It's worth the wait for a free cruise but it still irritates me to no end.

May I suggest that you get a CVP (otherwise known as PVP).  Whenever I need an answer or modification to current bookings or want to book a new sailing, I just call my CVP, who answers almost immediately, or I leave a voicemail message and she returns my call usually within an hour.  No waiting on hold and I get results immediately or before the end of the day.  Easy, peasy!  Please do not put yourself through this stress!

Do you book casino bookings thru your CVP?

You need to talk with Casino dept for casino bookings.

Your PVP cannot book casino cruises. I have always had to call and wait 30-90 minutes to get through.  Free balconies, free Princess Plus and free play are worth the wait

I call about an hour after they've opened. Most have cleared lines by then

Oops ..... I only call CVP or 1800Princess line.

So sorry, I had no idea.  I thought  a CVP could take care of all bookings.  Learned something new today!

My husband was on the phone with them for over 6 hours yesterday- no exaggeration.  This is usually my job, but I asked him to do it as I still work and knew it would take awhile. Never did get what we wanted. Sigh! I miss my retired PVP. If you have a good one, worth their weight in gold! Well, almost!

We asked yesterday about the Casino dept and was told that you have to have a certain number of years working the regular lines before you can move to book the casino dept cruises. it seems they don’t have that many experienced reps anymore to move them to the dept.

i also emailed the request.

I have a format so that I include all necessary info.

First they booked it for the wrong year, I emailed asking for it to be corrected.

Second they used the wrong offer code.

Calling about 3 mins before they open seems to be the best way.

"Calling about 3 mins before they open seems to be the best way."

Agree..... I did that last time I called.  Still a one hour wait, but needed to Talk to casino rep!

Took another hour to do everything I needed.  But sometimes you Gotta CALL.

No way I could handle it all thru email.

Agree.... getting to an experienced Casino Rep, is what is needed!

I've wasted several conversations with newer Casino reps, and it rarely works out.

I end up having to call back.

So call early, and fingers crossed you get an experienced rep. asap.

They do state that if you send an email with booking info before the offer code ends that they will honor that booking even if they respond after the expiration.

If you can’t get through send the email to at least have a record of it so you can secure that offer.

Really? The title is about the phones being answered. So sorry!

Please read the thread is starts with why does it take so long to the casino line. If you want a PVP just contact Princess and get one assigned to you. I have always had good service from PVP’s
