Porkpi Posted July 9, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 9, 2022 Hi all, Does anyone know of an an online, up to date ship port schedule- particularly for Italy and Greece. The ones that I come across in my searches are not accurate. Much appreciated if I can find one.
CruiserBruce Posted July 9, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 9, 2022 Nope, none are 100% accurate. Do a Google search for individual port schedules.
Rare Essiesmom Posted July 9, 2022 #3 Share Posted July 9, 2022 My favorite is cruisetimetables.com. Not all ports publish a schedule. Cruisemapper also has schedules, as does crew_center. EM
ldubs Posted July 9, 2022 #4 Share Posted July 9, 2022 I"ve been going to the specific port's website. So far I have found cruise ship schedules. How accurate, IDK, but they must be about as good as anything else out there.
Rare Hlitner Posted July 9, 2022 #5 Share Posted July 9, 2022 Prior to COVID I think there were several accurate sites including one of my favorites called "Cruisemapper." But we have noticed in the past year that none of the usual sites have been as accurate as in previous years. Why? Trying to keep up with constantly changing itineraries, cancellations, etc. is probably cause big problems for all the sites. There are more than 50 active cruise lines and hundreds of cruise ships and lately the industry has been like trying to track a moving target. This is not all the fault of the cruise industry in that they have to deal with constantly changing rules imposed by governments (and ports) around the world. So although we still like cruisemapper when it comes to seeing whats scheduled in a port we no longer consider it anywhere near 100% accurate. Even the individual port sites have been less than accurate because the various cruise lines keep changing their itineraries. I do not see this changing in the near future. Just today we were looking at all the cruise ships scheduled to port in Japan during the next year. My own speculation is that none of those cruises will ever reach Japan (because Japan will possibly remain closed to the cruise industry) so all those ships will eventually need to revamp their itineraries and go elsewhere. And this is only because of a single country. These kinds of issues continue to happen around the world. The cruise industry is also trying to wrestle with crew shortages, fuel price increases, etc. Everything is in play and I think many of us who follow the industry understand that changes (in itineraries) will continue for some time. navybankerteacher Posted July 9, 2022 #6 Share Posted July 9, 2022 Double check - after looking at the port information, go to the projected itinerary of the ship you are interested in. Because there is no such thing as a sure thing, you should not place large bets.

Markanddonna Posted July 11, 2022 #9 Share Posted July 11, 2022 Double check when you are on the ship about the schedules. Last time we were in Kusadasi, NCL and the port's times were an hour different. It was mentioned in very small letters on the Daily Planner, but many did not see this.
