I agree that the suite breakfast at Sabatini's is one of the best suite perks Princess has.  It's quiet, it's relaxed, it's completely personalized, and the food prep and delivery is better than any other food we've had on ship.

I agree. It was very quiet when we went there. Usually only 1 or 2 tables with diners.

AND in the specialty restaurant breakfast, don't miss the mimosas with freshly squeezed orange juice!!!

Ahhhhhh, the memories! The french toast there was delightful! Everything was!🥰🥂🥰🥂

I didn't like the OJ. Maybe, I should have had a mimosa to hide the taste.😂 Unfortunately, I don't drink, so I had tomato juice.

Just off the Emerald and went to breakfast at Sabatini's whenever we didn't have to get off the ship extra early. They opened at 7:30 am most days, so if we had to be off at 8:00 am we did room service. But on the LeHavre day they opened at 6:30 am and on disembarkation day they opened at 6:30 am. I was amazed at how few people were taking advantage of breakfast at Sabatini's. When we went there were usually only 2 or 3 other tables going, sometimes just one other.

Interesting they now show a price for the specialty coffees in the Suite Breakfast dining venue.  I do not recall being charged for them before when we did not have the drinks package.

If you don't want to go to Sabatini's don't hang the card out the day before. When you get up call room service they will know you are in a suite and you will get better food then if you had ordered form the card on the door.

I meant to say that on disembarkation day for our cruise, Sabatini's opened at 6:00 am for breakfast, not 6:30 am.

It's a different card than what is offered to non-suites.

Is Sabatini's open on disembarkation day?  We have only splurged once on a full suite and it was closed on Disembarkation day.  We are treating ourselves on our next cruise and the breakfasts are one of the nicer perks.  It would be great to have it before getting off in Fort Lauderdale.

We had also noticed only 1 or 2 other tables were filled most days when we were there.  The staff did indicate that most people do not take advantage of this option.

Just ask when on the ship. The staff on Discovery told us they would be open. It may be that it depends on the ship.

Sometimes it is not open on disembarkation day but when it wasn’t we were treated like gold in club class

In a full suite you can call room service and ask for anything as long as it’s on the ship.  I have never been told no. The service and ambiance in the specialty dining breakfast is beyond compare and I simply suggest you go once at the beginning of your cruise before deciding to eat in your cabin.  It is nothing at all like MDR or even specialty dining at dinner.

I always customize my fruit bowl in my cabin. And they are really good about sending only the best fruit on board.

Once my DH mentioned he liked Nutella crepes.  Well our server found Nutella on board and had some made for him. My DH didn’t request them but was delighted to get them. This is how eager and willing the staff in the suite breakfast restaurant are to please.

And this is the most important item I personally was wondering about (I love cinnamon doughnuts).

Thank you @cr8tiv1 for this info 🙂

We will be disappointed to have to pay for specialty coffee at suite breakfast,  that has been one of the benefits we really enjoyed,  since we're not morning mimosa drinkers and we don't have a beverage package.

Yes it is. At first I was worried there would be poaching water sogging up the waffle, but the chef was careful.  The waffle was crispy and egg was poached perfectly.  Also these are real poached eggs in MDR and even club class you get an egg cooked in a cup and they are often cooked either over or under.
In specialty dining breakfast I order poached eggs most days and chef sent only perfectly poached eggs.

What is the small bowl of yellow?

Unless you are talking about the “other” small bowl of yellow on DH plate with the eggs in the glass bowl over cubed potatoes. Yes that is hollandaise.

OMG I have to make my own breakfast this morning. My cheerios are not going to taste very satisfying after all this!

I was in a suite on the Royal at the end of June and used the 'card on the door' several times and it worked well.  The only thing I noticed is that the selection seemed to be a bit 'standard' as opposed to 'anything on the MDR menu'.   Then again, I never had breakfast in the MDR.

Perhaps you need to call to get access to the full MDR menu ?

Your room steward should have provided you breakfast, lunch (sea days) and dinner menus in your suite for each day.

One cruise we did have to ask, but otherwise they have been on the desk in the cabin.

The menus were not in my cabin but easily accessible on the television. Post Covid didn’t feel like I needed my steward to do more work.  And the fact that I pre-order my meals anyway.
