I think it has been posted previously but I am unable to locate, I am interested in the White Wine (bottle) prices please. Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio preferably.  I think someone said they start at $60, but anything under that price? Thanks

If you're prepared to try something different I recommend the Laurent V. Singing Grüner Veltliner.

Thank you for posting once again! There are a few ‘Ouch’ moments, but at least we know where all our OBC will go. Will try your suggestion too!

Just looked at the wine you recommended, definitely interesting and will try at that price! Thanks again.

If you like it I recommend an Australian winery that makes that variety - Landhaus. Pricey but  they have regular sales, thank goodness. It's our new favourite white wine! 😊

I've noticed quite a few of my posts don't appear on here

This one made it. 😁

I had the same issues on P&O a few months back, so I got into the habit of copying the content of the post before hitting the submit button and wondering if it would get stuck on the satellite.

Last night they started a thirty sale at 8pm.

I went to the shop to have a look and there were a lot of staff there picking out their size.

$3.70 Australian  each. They stocked more this morning. I got 6 for my son.

They all have south American  logo on them. But nice.

I have been quite surprised at how cheap the logo stuff is compared to royal Caribbean.

I keep telling myself I am not buying any more cruise branded clothes, so I bought a long sleeve logo tee, and Barb insisted on getting a stylish looking logo jacket. Add that to a couple of other bits of clothing for Barb and a jumbo logo coffee mug she couldn't live without, all of our spend for the cruise was in the gift shop. We didn't see the old South American tees out during our short stay.

We have got some reasonable Royal Caribbean stuff in the past, but I was pleasantly surprised that Princess had such keen pricing on their newer stuff.

Now, not to buy anything on the next one.

Frank bought a reversible South American jacket for $35 which I heard was half that later cruises, however he needed small size so they might not have any of those left!

Thank you. Will take your advice and look at that winery. We are not on Coral but Majestic so I do hope they carry the same wines. Many thanks for your assistance.

The Grüner Veltliner was on the Princess wine list in 2019 so it should be on Majestic. We drank several bottles of it during the 35 night cruise we did on Sea Princess that year.

We certainly will try on our October/November Majestic cruises!

Almost at the end of my 22 night cruise and haven't been hungry once. Probably gained about 5kgs.

Haven't  tried the bayou , but might try it tonight or Tomorrow  night if the dining room has the more boring  menus.

All the food has been good.

This is my first Princess cruise so I have been trying most dishes.

Don't trust the menus on the tv in your room. They are nearly always wrong.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I have enjoyed reading your posts along the way. It was great to meet you and your mum a couple of weeks back.

Sorry Newcastle hasn't turned on the sunshine today, but at least that will give you a chance to pack all those shoes.

Safe travels home. Do you have any other cruises on your horizon?

Newcastle weather was great the other two times.

Nice meeting you too.

I don't have anything booked just yet. I can get three or four weeks off work late December till just before Australia day. I might do 2x 7day cruises back to back out of Florida on royal Caribbean or the boring islands and Queensland  back to back on royal Caribbean.

Just got to talk my son into coming with me.

Mum will probably do a Princess cruise with her friend next.

We have had great steaks in both Crown Grill (Golden) and Sterling Steakhouse (Diamond), the one we had on Voyager at Chops Grille was nice but much more expensive than the Princess steakhouses. As we are not big drinkers,  spending a few dollars on a nice steak is fine as we enjoy it. We usually eat in the MDR but have been known to just go to Horizon Court after a busy shore day if we are tired and can't be bothered dressing up or even have room service.

We like to be on deck for all the sail aways. Those nights we eat in the steak house or Horizon Court.

For our first cruises from Brisbane and Sydney we were up on deck for sailaway but since then, mainly sailing from Melbourne, we have tended to stay on our balcony or on the promenade deck to watch as we sail through Port Phillip Bay. We then head to the MDR usually. Melbourne sailaways are usually 4pm.

Yum! I'd be more then happy with those lamb cutlets, we didn't have them on our 7 nighter.

They probably just re stocked the lamb cutlets, $25 worth from the butchers, lol. Expensive like tomatoes.🍅

Felt the buffet was quite lacking when we were on - quality and choice just seemed below expected. We didn't eat there much, MDR was fine, just not wow.  Like to do specialist restaurants as the food is often well above other onboard venues and in the scheme of things not a huge additional charge.

I just got off this morning. I did feel there was no wow factor in the MDR. Deserts as usual were excellent. Buffet was good I thought.

Crikey quick trip. Did you do the self walkoff with your bags?  Did you see much evidence of Covid cabins, with the tables in front of cabin doors?

The ship has been code green for most of the past 2 weeks.

The numbers are based on %, and the ship has been 1/2 full or less, so there could only have been a maximum of 4 covid cases on the last cruise. Could have also been 0.
